Unfortunately I can't post the article but you can look on http://www.ksl.com. It is about a man taking a 1 year old child on a ride on a full size motorcycle. Unfortunately he wreaked and it killed the 1 year old. Local law enforcement is now seeking to file further charges against the man. In a way I believe that this man is suffering from a great loss and that is enough of a punishment and disagree that they should seek further charges. What do you think?

How could any adult think it's a good thing to put a 1yr old on a motorcycle and go for a ride? The article said he was speeding. Two mistakes that cost the life a child. He should be punished. Someone that irresponsible needs to be in jail. Let him do his grieving there.

Yes, I agree that this 48 year old guy who irresponsibly took his child on an unprotected motorcyle ride is probably experiencing his own hell, already. He'll suffer for the rest of his life knowing that he killed his little son. I believe, however; that he should pay a price, where the law is concerned, for taking his childs' life. An adult should never be let off the hook for killing a child, just because he might be seriously grief stricken. Obviously, his brain was in the "off" position. I know this seems harsh but he needs to be held accountable for that life.

Some sort of punishment should be set forth, yes. I agree that the man must be mourning the loss of his child, but seriously, what kind of man puts a one year old child on a motorcycle? Motorcycles are very dangerous. My husband and I were talking about them just the other day. A tree limb in the middle of the road can cause you to lose control. An animal darting into the road, even a fairly good sized rock. A child needs to be in a child safety seat until they're 8 years old. You can't do that on a motorcycle. I'm sorry, but the man needs further punishment.
