How old were you when you got your first cellphone? What phone brand and model was it? How did you feel when you first held it?

Oh, yeah. Sometimes when we see our friends and relatives with better phones, we envy them. However, I guess we have to be satisfied with what we have and we'll just remember that someday, we're going to have better phones, too. Oh, I hope you'll be more careful from now on. Phones are hot to thieves' eyes. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

My first cell phone was also a nokia model. And it was given by parents on my birthday. And it is still there in my room, but I don't use it for regular use .

@cagampan1991 oh, I also know that model. I had one before. It was easy to use. I loved playing Snake with it. @thewonderboy wow, a birthday gift. It's good to hear that you still have it until now although you don't use it regularly. It has a sentimental value for sure. Happy mylotting and thanks to both of you for posting.

Hello I guess I was in the college when I got my first mobile phone, may be around 19 or 20 age. It was Nokia phone and it wasn't new. I mean I got my sister's old mobile first time.. But still I was quite happy that I finally got one mobile, but after that I have change my mobiles many times.

Oh, I also got my first mobile from my sister. So, it was also a second hand phone; however, I was still so happy that I could text and make calls anytime I wanted. It didn't matter to me if it wasn't a brand new phone. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

I loved Nokia 1100. It took our phone 7 days to drain its battery. I had to charge it for the initial charging so I made it rang and switched its flashlight on so that the battery would be empty immediately. LOL. It was already seven days and the battery was still okay.I was so excited to charge it. If I could still buy a brand new one, I will buy one for me. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Hello angelkarah050182, when I was a child I was not having a cellphone for my own. I use my parents phone to call and message to my friends. But after some months my parents bought me a brand new nokia phone for me. I was very much happy on that day .

Before I had my own cellphone too, I also used my parents and my elder sister's phones. Then my sister sold her phone to me and i had my own. It's really different when we have our own phones. We can make calls and send text messages anytime we want. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

14 years old. My mom gave me a 8210 Nokia cell phone. And the first thing that came in my mind: UNLIMITED SNAKE! I really enjoyed that game. I still prefer the old version than what we have now.

Oh, I also wished to have a Nokia 8210. It looked really handy. I was really eyeing this phone before but I already had my phone. They were still expensive before so I can't just buy and buy whenever I like one. LOL. Now, some phones are cheap. We can buy them as long as we have enough budget. Snake! I am not good in playing this game. LOL. But I also loved playing it. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Yes, I guess we didn't care much about the models before. We were already satisfied of having our own phones. However, children nowadays aren't satisfied if their phones aren't smart phones. LOL. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

I got my first cell phone when I turned 18... That was back in 1989... I don't even remember what model it was... All I remember is that it was pretty big phone... I didn't really feel one way or another about it... I just got it because I needed it... I haven't had a house phone ever since...

I was 15 when I had my first cell phone and at the same age, I lost it hahahaha. When I first got it, I was like in heaven. I can't wait to use it but the saleslady told me to charge it for 12 hours. I can't turn it on and my hands were itching to use it but I have to wait. It was a Nokia 3310 and it's very famous that time. It feels so good when people envy you for having a phone like that before. But when I lost it, I feel like I was in hell. I can't stop crying but I can't do anything about it.

Hello angelkarah, good day to you. I think I was already in University when I got my first cell phone. I was in 3rd year college that time and I was already 19. I had a Nokia 3210 model which was given to me by my parents. When I first held it, I was really very happy. I was thankful I didn't need to borrow one from anyone anymore. Before I had it, I needed to borrow our family's cell phone so I could text my best friend, my classmates and other friends. When I already had it with me, I was really delighted because it was easier for me to communicate with the people who are important to me. I lived in another city that time and maybe I was 40 minutes away from my home so I didn't go home everyday. Before, I needed to wait for the weekend before I could read the messages sent to me by my friends. When I already had my first cell phone with me, I didn't have to wait for how many days for me to check if someone sent me a message or not because I already had one with me. I could receive the messages sent to me by my friends immediately. A few months after I got my cell phone, I was even happier because my crush became my textmate. He even became my boyfriend. Until now, he's still my boyfriend. I'm so happy when I got my first cell phone. I really loved it and I was really blessed to have it. :)

Yeah. It's really different when you have your own phone. You can view your messages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. LOL. You're right. It's great to have our phones because we feel closer to our friends and family members. They're just a text away. Oh, your boyfriend became your textmate. That's good to hear. I guess you had a lot of memorable text messages in your Nokia 3210. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

Oh, I guess I knew your Motorola. My classmates had Motorola phones too when I was in university. I got my two Motorola phones when I got married already. I like this brand. For me, they manufacture phones with good qualities. I hope they are still manufacturing good phones until now. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

When I first came across a mobile phone was a lost one. An illiterate guy got it on the seat while pulling his rickshaw. He showed me to know how to operate it. This was the first time, I was holding a phone with my hand. I tried to guess out the operating process but could not. I told them without any manual Im not able to find out how to operat and also told the guy to back the phone to its owner. The mobile phone owner would call them but they dont know which key to press to receive it. One day suddenly by chance the finger fell on the recieve key and the phone was speaking. They told me, they had tried to listen to what it says. It says ' hello brother if you give me the phone back I will give you taka hundred instantly as gift for sure''. Heard later times the owner having had a journey of 500 kms, he rescued the phone as per what he has swore to the guy who got it. How ever in my life, I purchased a nokia phone of which model was 2600. Its was a made in Finland phone. The first night after buying the phone I hadnt slept well the whole night. A guy had given me a missed call and told me to make the call back. I failed to back it.lol and I messed up. Now looks like the begger is bearing a mobile phone too.

Oh, I know Nokia 2600. I can't send a text message using this phone. LOL. I usually end up pressing the wrong key. I better have 3210 or 3310 but not 2600. LOL. I don't know but it seems confusing for me to operate this. My boss still have this phone and whenever she asks me to send a text message for her, I told her that I'll just use my phone. LOL. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.

I remember, my first cellphone is Nokia 5110 and If I'm not mistaken, I'm on my third year of college when I had that model. The 5110 is so cool during those days because you can create a 3 line graphics (stick figure) and you will become a cool guy because 5110 is very new at that time. I'm happy when I got that CP and until now, I remember those days. Have a great day!

My first cellphone was bought by my father 4 years ago and its still alive haha. So here's my story about my cellphone. Before, I have no cp and just borrowed my father's fone at certain times. One day, his cellphone was with me and his business partner keeps on calling on that cellphone and I would just reject the call. At the end of the day, my father had a misunderstanding with his business partner due to my actions and decided to buy me one. My cellphone was nokia 1200. Pretty old and out dated model already but I am still happy with it coz as long as I can text and call, any cellphone would be fine.
