ok this is my first time posting my probs online but im tired of feeling this way.for a while now when i go to bed at night as soon as i lay down it feels like something comes midway up my throat and i cant completely swallow after that unless i sit up for about 20mins. as soon as i sit up i instantly get lots of air coming up and whatever it was is gone.most times i even wake up choking and about to hurl! i hate this feeling cause i have very restless nights because of it. im also getting major heartburn from just about anything i eat. if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

It sounds like you are suffering from acid reflux or bronchial asmtha or both. I have dealt with acid reflux for many years. I have been on lots of different prescription acid reducers and acid blokers. At this time I take Omeprazole, I buy it ove the counter at Walmart. It works for me and my doctor approves. The bronchial asmtha I have is controled with singulair and an Advair inhaler. The symptoms you are having are not normal and you should se a doctor about it. I got to the point I was waking vomiting and choking stomach acid and whatever I had eaten that day. It is miserable. Don't let yourself get to that point. See a doctor soon.
