Aha! They'll never guess my intentions!

C'mon, you can tell us. Are you one of those people who posts discussions under the guise of it being a totally innocent discussion, but yet you're really trying to provoke a reaction? Or are you one of those braver souls who outright says what they are trying to get to, without attempting a round about way of saying it? What about in real life? Are you ever suspicious how a person starts off a conversation? Do you ever take the bait?

I am so naive, I shouldn't admit that should I? I'm no good at hiding my intentions - list the cliches here (I wear my heart on my sleeve, I'm an open-book, etc). As far as these discussions, hell yeah I'm trying to provoke a reaction. It's no fun if I don't get somebody wanting to respond. By provoke, I don't mean anger. Don't need that.

To tell you the truth, I hate putting up certain discussions after I argued with somebody. I am always afraid they will think the discussion I put up is about them and I have had people in the past say I know you were talking about me. I sometimes don't even see a connection but they do.

Oh yes. I remember once time someone just got really mad at my discussion because they thought it was about them, and I really truly had no idea what they were talking about. She apologized for jumping to conclusions, but still to this day I don't know how she connected my discussion to anything about her.

I am totally honest and straightforward. I don't post discussions for the sake of getting a reaction. In real life, I believe the best in people. I am not suspicious of the way someone starts a conversation unless the history of my relationship with the person has given me a good reason to be suspicious of them.

You're sweet. You even hold your tongue when someone is really rude to you in a totally innocuous discussion.

I just want to be mysterious and naughty sometimes. Sometimes i like playing tricks on people's mind. But don't start a discussion for the sake of getting a reaction, though now that you've brought it up i think i'll consider that.

I am not good at starting discussions to get a reaction. I mainly talk about things that have happened to me or something in the news that hit me hard. I am a very trusting person in real life so I do not doubt anything someone says. Most people say I am way too trusting. Their probably right but I dont think I will be changing anytime soon.

Hi, my name is Sarah and I can go from nice to B!tch in 6 seconds. I start posts because I want answers or I need help trying to understand. When it comes to religion, it can get heated! In fact I was called a liar because I truthfully said I didn't want to make a member look bad. He didn't believe me! So now it is he who really looks bad! None of my posts are tricks. I either heard something that confused me and I want to ask all of you what do you make of it or I ranting about something or praising something!

What are you talking about? Did I miss one of your posts? I know I answered one today, but if you posted another one I missed it. I'm way behind in my discussions. I'll go through some of my e-mail and see if I can find something. I kind of put you and Lamb in the same category.

I don't try to start stuff, and I don't post "innocent" discussions to start stuff either - not my way at all.

Not me me friend. I usually start discussions that are searching for a variety of responses and opinions. I guess I have probabl "taken the bait" before..lol...but I sure didn't mean too.

I don't know if I am, I just post what I feel to post whenever I like it. I normally do not go into more detailed when I am discussing something coz this is an online world, I want my privacy as well as the people involve in my discussions. In real life, I always try to read between the lines, go beyond what was said, what's the bottom line of discussions and how it connects to our previous conversations.. As for the bait, well, we always have a choice to respond to topics which are not too personal. People cannot always guess the real intention of the one who created a discussion but for sure there is only One who can read our thoughts and real intention.

I discuss that I know that I will get reaction but I write only what I have experience and I'm getting some reaction because I'm leaving question in my post. :))
