My husband lost his job today.

We were waiting for this to happen as the company was closing the plant and transferring to the Cambridge plant. They just weren't sure when this move was going to happen. They would have hired him on permanently, but the problem was that he lacked the skills needed for this, and they weren't going to pay for him to move down there. He doesn't drive either, so the commute would not have been worth it. He was getting good money at that job, so anything now will be a sacrifice. But the temp agencies do have work, it's just a matter of finding something that works for him for the long term. He'll be calling agencies tomorrow and will be going over to one to apply for several jobs. I've even put his resume to another steel company, so hopefully he has a chance to get in there for a permanent position. We have to wait and see what happens now. I'm hoping he finds something that he can do that's long term or permanent.

I'm sorry, with which you are experiencing now. Right now, my husband also does not work. We have just moved away, so my husband can not work. We have to downsize, and live simply, with savings that we have. My husband, now only works if someone needed his services. I always look forward, hopefully all of this, we can go through. I also hope that you and your husband, get through that is going on right now. Hopefully, your husband can soon get a job.

No matter what they say, the economy still is not great. I have a hubby that has had work difficulties. In self defense he took early Social Security. It is a big cut over what he would have gotten if he could have waited. If he could find the right permanent job he would take it. Hope your hubby has some good luck.

I am so sorry that your husband has lost his job. I know how hard it is to live on unemployment. I hope he can find something soon. I know one keeps on hearing that the economy is getting better, but I am curious to know what planet the president lives on because on planet earth the economy is worse. I know Randy is collecting disability because of his foot and I was told that if I work I can only make a certain amount or else it will hurt Randy's disability. I will pray for you.

I´m so sorry to read this Kris. You have to be strong enough until he find another job. We went throuhg this situation too, in several times. At least three. The kids were so small, we had moved to another town, we had no relatives here, we almost knew nothing about this town and his people. It was so hard so hard. My faith helped me a lot to be strong enough. I tried to do my best effort at home to make him feel comfortable. He went through three jobs before he found his place. I´ll pray for you and your husband, blessings!...
