Hello Mylotters, Last week while I was going through some of the photo albums , I noticed 4-5 childhood pics of mine.I was very happy to see them as I got to know how I was at that age.Now I have one of those pics enlarged and have put that on the wall. Now my question to you all is how many of you have your childhood pics and what have done with them?

I have my childhood photos with me. The oldest photo is from my first Birthday. I have scanned them and stored them online. When time persists or I am in Nostalgic mood, I do login and check them.

I had a few childhood photos. Our house has been flooded and the pictures can`t be seen anymore. I am quite old and the pictures are black and white and has a low quality compare to the pictures now. The old pictures that i still have is only few and i scan it and keep it to my mail fro a remembrance. Like you, i love looking at my photos because it gives back memories and lessons. I now keep a lot of pictures of my son because i also want him to see it when he is already old. But this generation is easier than before since internet, camera in phones and facebook does exist

I have some childhood photos maybe 10 pcs. but I only pick those cute one to enlarged and frame them so that my future child will see it. I am glad that my parents keep some picture of mine because I can see what I was look like when I was young. Now I am trying to keep them and make some copy for future use.

those moments of our childhood days wont come back again ...so make it a point to take snaps of your children and store them so that your children will enjoy seeing them later...

My mother made a photographic history of our family, beginning in the late 1930's right before my older sister was born. Photography was her hobby. The pictures are in albums that my brother cataloged for her. There were times when she took pictures almost every day. I don't know how many albums there are, but there are 75 years worth of pictures in them. My brother has them now. They are great to look at. All the memories, holidays, birthdays, everything. She took pictures of other things too, animals, her travels, etc. They're wonderful to have to pass on to our nieces and nephews. I don't know how long the old b&w pictures will last. And some of the first color pictures are looking kind of yellow-y. The technology for color in film was not so good back then. I have her first camera. I think it's from about 1935. It's kind of weird looking. But fun to keep.

lucky you.....you should thank your mom for that...wow nice to hear that you have photos as old as the 1930's....however it is better you scan the photos which you think you need and store them on your computer or online...its better to do it now rather than losing them ...

I have a whole photo album of me when I was young and my dad will find one here or there at times. I see that ones from my childhood days and I am left searching for the child in there behind the lense. I dont remember very much of my childhood and there is even one picture that I didnt think was even me. The little girl was empty. Sitting on a rock with some balloons and a lollipop. But she was empty. I ended up painting a version of that with a young lady sitting atop a log back faced to the artist, and she is holding balloons right in front of a stormy water front. Thats the biggest urge to do something big with a photo I saw.

In my case, I still have some photos when I was a baby and from then on several through my chidhood with different ages. Nowadays, I have all of them scanned and hold them on a stick. Sometimes, when I want to remember, I take my stick and go through all of them.

I don't have my childhood photo. When I was a child, the photos were not taken and there was no studio or camera with anyone and it was a time that we cannot imagine now. I was in need of a photo when I was studying for 8th standard. Any way, those photos were not kept and must be destroyed. The oldest photo with me now is when I was 15 and it is almost damaged, which I secured from an album of a friend, while attending a marriage.

I have several photos from my younger days and I found more photos of myself and my siblings after my mother passed away back in Sept. It was great finding those old photos, there are even some of my mother and her siblings as kids. I will be scanning them at some point (soon I hope) because I know they won't last forever.

I have lot of childhood photos in my photo album and always cherish my childhood days while seeing the album. Now i have 2 kids and take photos frequently about each and every activities and improvements on them. Both of my kids are going to school now. My wife take a lot of photos of my child in their infant stage, every time we will check their photos while we are in sorrow and forget about our worries while watching their cute smile in the photos. I take some videos of my kids using my cell phone and saved it in the memory card, this photos and videos are my energy tonic. I will gain more strength and forget about my issues while seeing this photos and cute videos. I think most of the persons will keep their childhood photos as their treasure and get more fun while watching them. We will go back to our childhood days while checking the photos and cherish about our pleasant moments. We all have photo albums of most of our house functions and festivals, also we have the photo album of our childhood days and get more excitement while checking the photos with our friends and family members. This kind of albums are our sweet memories and collection of treasure.

I have many. Thanks to my mother as she has kept those memories intact in the form of photographs or in some sort of albums. And I too have a photo or two of mine enlarged in frame work. I even have shared a photo of mine keeping it as my profile picture in face book. I was really cute. I love that kid.

LOL, not really. It's just that when I moved out of my parents' house, I cannot bring everything that I have. Besides, I think my parents would love to have it with them.

Well I have quite a lot of childhood photos. Many are black and white as my father used to develop his own in a dark room. It is good to look at them sometimes, but I really get that I am not that person anymore and that's quite a strange feeling. _Derek

No, I am not thinking I was cute, but my elder sisters always seem to say so. Something that I find a bit embarrassing if I am honest. I feel like that child who was me in the photograph was a different person to the one I am now.. I can remember being a child, but that's all it is, a memory._Derek

I do! I have many childhood pictures of me and my family. I have some photo albums and other envelopes full with photos. There was no digital photo those times! But I scanned some photos to see them bigger and to send them to my friends and relatives. It's so funny to look at photos of myself at different ages!

Yes! We got a lot of albums stored in our cabinets. My parents really did a great job collating and arranging them. We got a lot of pictures since we were children. The difference today is that our pictures are in electronic media already. However, my mother every now and then prints some good pictures out and updates our albums.

Hi krupesh, Yes, I had 3 of them. One was when I was a toddler I was wearing a dress my mother made it laminated and hung it on the wall till now. The 2nd was when we are at the beach I was 7 yrs. old then, My cousins and I were lying on the sand with sea wedges on our head, and the 3rd one was when my cousins, my brother and I where dressed as an angels. We were singing with the other kids on easter sunday.
