I was weeding my front garden and out the fence. There is little space of soil out the fence and the comes the main road. So I was outside sitting on a small stool and weeding, I saw a think snake. I have seen snakes before but then they go zoop zoop, so fast. I saw it not going away, I brought a long stick to put it away but he is not coming on the stick and is stuck itself in the knee length grass. I saw it there but it is not leaving me. It is there where I am weeding. I took break and came inside. Let it go poor fellow. what would you have done in my case?

As long as it wasn't poisonous I think I would leave it alone. Snakes are a much maligned creature and I feel sorry for them. I'm not afraid of snakes unless I'm walking in the country and one shoots out in front of me. That's startling. But usually they do that because you've scared them, maybe more than they scared you. They are beautiful creatures. I have a picture somewhere of me with a 6ft python laying over the back of my neck and down my arm. Not scary at all. Anyway his owner was right there just in case!

Oh yeah I like pythons, I have seen any here. 2 were crossing the road and they were very slow, so the traffic had to stop till they crossed fully. They were big and took the entire road. I like then because they are very slow ones. But once they get on you and take you round then very hard to unwrap. they are very powerful. thanks for sharing, have a wonderful day.

If I am the one saw that snake I might be scream or run away because I am very afraid of snakes. When I was young I saw snakes inside our house and I asked my cousin to get rid of it and throw it far from our house.

hahha. you are like my husband. He runs for his life when he sees snakes. on the other hand I am from a place where we don't have snakes and I should be scared. We don't have snakes in Fiji. The first snake I saw is here in India. I am not that scared of them. They are okay i guess. My husband has snake phobia. thanks for sharing. have good day.

I like snakes and, so long as it isn't poisonous, I'd just leave it alone. Actually, I might just watch it, even if it were poisonous... just further away if it were.

Well if it's not a dangerous or poisonous snake then I think that is OK. It's nice that you left for a bit and let him go. If they are harmless to us but protect agains say mice then I think that's OK

I think it was not poisonous. It was a sweet one. I think it was baby one. I take care otherwise. there is lots of grass which I have to yet remove but I will bring some worker who can do it for me. I get scared of bigger snakes. Thanks for sharing. good day to you.
