If you would be a teacher for one day, what would you teach and why? Who would be your students? Happy mylotting!

Teacher are supposed to be like parents. The effective way of being in this profession is to impart the knowledge, the outcome the students will absorb everything. In examinations, if more than half of the class passed the said exam then we can say they are effective. But some teachers don't bother to think about this. They are not that concern if his students will pass or not. That's the downside of being a teacher.

Yes, you're right. Some teachers don't care about their students. They only think of themselves and their salaries. They are not dedicated to their professions. I hope they'll just change their career if they don't like what they are doing. We should have competent and dedicated teachers. Teachers that really love teaching. We need them for our future generation. I hope that schools are wise enough to hire teachers who are devoted to their jobs. Teaching is a noble profession. If they think that they'll become rich, they're wrong. They've got the wrong profession. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

Oh, I got your point. If the students don't have the passion to learn, they won't really learn at all. So teachers need to exert their effort to try to get their attention and if they can use different strategies, then maybe it would be possible to get the students attention. Children nowadays are already different. They are distracted with their mobile phones and other gadgets they have. They don't value their education now. Since college or university are already more mature compared to elementary and high school students, they should be responsible for their studies. I guess motivating them is no longer needed. Thanks for the comment and happy mylotting.

Unfortunately, it's not quite that easy. Wish it were. There are many, many more things that affect how well a student does on a test other than teacher effectiveness. Although teacher effectiveness does play a role. Tests can better be used to determine teacher effectiveness if looked at over a longer period of time and with different students. For example, I teach college level computers. Most of the time, a good 75% or more of my students leave with an A. Up until recently, no one had ever failed my class. This is over several years, with many different classes. However, I recently had a class, the same material, that ended with the result of one B and the majority with an F. Did I suddenly become ineffective? I imparted the same knowledge, to the same size class (11) with extremely different results. The personality of this class was very different than my other classes. This class spent a lot of time talking about non-class issues. Doing out of class work during class. Then asking me to repeat what I had just said. The repetition of material, the distraction of outside activity to other students, the frequent stops to request that everyone get back on topic, and a non-chalant attitude toward the school-work all directly impacted the success of these students.

If I were a teacher for one day, I would teach or share the experience of my life and the other. I may teach how to use a program of computer (applications). For example, I could teach how to use an Excel foundation or basic course. The aims are Students will learn how to work with menu, icons, and its functions. Students will learn how to preview and print when they finish.

Oh, that's good. Yes, some children or people are still computer illiterate. Maybe they know how to switch on their PCs and play computer games but other functions, they don't know yet. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting. Happy New Year!

Hi, If I would be a teacher for one day it would be difficult for me to teach anyone. Because I don't have patience and I get easily angry. But I would like to teach accounts subjects because I am good in Maths and accounts.

It's a challenging job. You'll learn to be more patient if you are already teaching. Students need so much guidance and patience. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.
