Earlier this year my kids and I got return flights from London to Buenos Aries. In one month we visited Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay. We traveled around on long distance buses and it was amazing to travel over the Andes area. Wow! Could you think of four countries that would go well together on a trip?

Hi Maxine and Yugasini, I only wished I had been in a better atate of health when You came with your lovely children. Still I think you saw a great deal in the few days you were here. You even met a couple of earthquakes (I was very much worried because of Leo being at the second floor). Now I think of one country each time and it much depends on what the doctor says.

Hi friend, I don't know if it is possible in your route.. but there is no harm in trying if you have the money. You can try this countries in Asia: China(Beijing/Shanghai), South Korea, Japan and Taiwan(Chinese-Taipei). This countries are just neighbors in East Asia, although most travel can be done in air or boat but I think it would be fun. You can learn a lot from this countries. You can also have a little side trip in the Philippines which is just below Taiwan. All of this countries are great and are rich in natural resources.. :). With this you can learn something new in Asian cultures, history, delicacies, etc.. I am just glad you are able to do this together with your family, just make sure safety is the main key in travel. Its good to have a guide or idea about the place being visited. Thank you and more power.. Happy Mylotting -pals-

Hi there my friend. Thanks for your wonderful response. I think there is a ferry from China to South Korea and from there onto Japan. I know it would be easy to fly from there to Taiwan. Yes, safety is very important when traveling and I always be careful plus arrange travel insurance just in case.

England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales would go well together, as they make up The United Kingdom. This is a small area filled with natural beauty; a rich history; lots of amazing buildings--everything from castles to flats and many things in between; tradition; spirituality; a unique quaintness; a wide variety of musical styles; yummy food; and--in spite of incidents here and there involving crime and small wars--an overall friendliness. Even when people might be somewhat reserved and living by protocol, it's a place where you're still made to feel welcome. Or so I've heard and read. I haven't personally been there--yet...

I think visiting England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland on the same trip would be very easy to do. The history would be fascinating and very interesting. I hope that you will be able to visit the United Kingdom soon.

Well, back in 1968, we did 5 countries in Europe, England, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France - and honestly the biggest disappointment was France... Though, if the horses hadn't been sick our trip to Vienna would've been perfect!

I think that the four countries that I am going to visit (Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam) go well together because they are neighbour countries and it is easy to get from one country to the next. I couldn't find any direct flights to Cambodia or Laos so I chose to start in Thailand because it was much easier to get from Europe to Thailand. From Thailand it is easy to get to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. Another good combination in Asia would be Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. I am not sure that I am going to visit Brunei, but I plan on visiting the other 3 countries on my second trip to Asia. In Central Asia a good combination would be Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turmenistan. In southern Africa I think that South Africa, Nambia, Botswana and Mozambique would be a good combination. The first 3 countries are easy to visit for citizens from my country, Mozambique is a bit more complicated because I would need to get a visa. In South America I would choose Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil and in Central America I would choose Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua and I would combine those countries with a trip to the Domenican republic because it would be easy to fly from Europe to the Domenican republic and from the Domenican republic to Panama.

try these places in south east Asia: 1. Indonesia(Bali) 2. Thailand 3. Vietnam 4. Singapore . it is kind of promotion actually cause I'm from one of those countries. but i believe it is worth to visit them. many tourism sites and attractions which are different from each of those countries and i think it is affordable and quite cheap holiday.

I think that is a lovely suggestion. The route from England could be London to Thailand side trip to Vietnam, then Singapore and finally Bali. Yes, all of these are affordable and interesting.

I think that for those people choosing to travel to Australia, then a good choice for many travellers coming all this way from the Northern Hemisphere could be to either do a cruise out from Brisbane or Sydney to some of the South Pacific Nations like Vanuatu and Fiji. Or they could choose to visit New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia as well. Another good choice would be to stopover on the way and visit Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore before coming here. They are all close together and flights from Malaysia to Australia are pretty cheap.
