My friend complained to me last night about her boyfriend. He's in UK, she's here. When he got there he stayed on Leeds for two weeks for training. After which he'll be moving to another place to start his job. My friend was unaware of where he would be next and so was the boyfriend. The boyfriend told her he might not be able to communicate after moving out of Leeds because there might be no internet there. But they were able to exchange emails. What pissed her off though was when she asked where he was the reply was i'm in the bathroom. Isn't it obvious that what she wanted to know was to where he's located? One time they were having problems communicating through their android phones and my friend wanted to help out her boyfriend fix the problem, so she asked what android is he using. The respond annoyed her because he said galaxy mini and galaxy s3! My friend's point was, why tell her two phones when what she was asking was actually just the phone he's using with her. I can't understand why he couldn't give my friend a straight to the point answer! What's your take on this?

Hi Toni! It would have been better had your friend's boy friend would have given straight and to the point answers. However, it appears to me that the guy in question loves humour and that is why he gave funny replies....... Lol! I think your friend should not take it too seriously and could request him to give specific ansers to her questions. All the best to your friend.

I don't see any humour in his answer though and so is my friend. What I see is my friend going over a lot of stress from not being with him. She has tried to tell him not to do that anymore, but he seems to forget all the time. Just hope my friend has enough patience to stay in the relationship.

Personally like many others have said here, he is hiding something if he is not wanting to give the real truth. He is probably seeing someone where he is now, or has a whole bunch of women lined up. If this is so, he will be caught in time, but this reminds me of a situation I was in over 15 yrs. ago, so that is why I am positive he is hiding things from her.

I'm pretty sure that he's hiding something from her as well, but I think he's not cheating on her. There's something more. My friend told me many things about them and i've told her he might be seeing someone else. But when I talked to this guy, I could tell it's not that. HIs dad would kill him if he would hurt the only woman that he wants to spend his entire life with.

I think he was just talking through his hat. He was not serious about what he said. Or something screwed his mind during his stay there?

So he was not serious all the time because it didn't happen only once. It happens all the time.

I'm guessing he got mugged by some dumb brit, or he's just pretty dumb with places and Android phones. Frankly, even I wouldn't know what to answer if someone asked me the question "What android are you using?" I might answer with the version. E.g. 2.2 or 2.3 (What's the latest by the way?) As with the "Where are you?" question, I'm also thinking he's really into something suspicious. I mean, the scarriest thing that could happen is me taking a dump, and someone breaking in and beating the cr@p out of me.

He might be hiding something, not wanting to tell his girlfriend the truth. But that really sucks since he would tell her she's the only person he trusts int he world other than his parents. Anyway, I hope my friend won't be that annoyed to end their relationship. As to the latest android os, it's 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Sorry can't help it.

She's pretty sure he's in Uk, just didn't know where exactly he is because he didn't tell in the first place.

I have 2 different opinion on this. First, maybe it is just the natural attitude of the guy. He's just trying to be funny. If he keeps on doing those things I guess he wanted to end the relationship but he's having second thoughts not to hurt your friend's feelings. Or the guy is having another relationship while he is away.

He's far from ending the relationship with her. In fact he wants to marry her. He must be hiding something, not cheating but i'm guessing there are things he's been doing that he doesn't want to share with her. I think he's just a natural idiot.
