Don't be fooled by a first impression.. befriending you.. making religion as an excused to make you closed. I'm not really a devoted fanatic religiously going to church but I admired people of different religion who are actively involve in church organizations. such a fool I am that I believe that they were all good, nice and afraid to do things that is against God. so people like that can easily win my attention. I believe and I trust. But please be aware that some NOT all were using it as their tool to fool us around.. Scam us..squeezing out all our resources even though they know that we need it most more than them. I once was victimized, but being positive I trust again and again and again...and victimized again and again and again.. Maybe 4 times is enough, but my mind says don't lost hope, trust and believe that there are still many good people there. Just wait and see... Foolish idea but it's up to you guys...

if i may suggest, why don't you just practice your belief your own way? there is no need to join a religious organization just so you could profess your faith. i agree that some religious sects are just in for your money. but in case you really want to join a religion, why not go to the established churches like rc, inc among others.

hi murkie, thanks a lot for the response, but for clarification my religion is different from them and i don't join their organizations, sad to say that i respect their beliefs thinking they are righteous. they befriend me, win my trust and fool me at the end. that's it. my hard earned money, lots of overtime and sidelines intended for my kids were stolen by a fake crocodile friends.

well i can only suggest that you just practice your faith in your own way.. like, worship on your own, pray on your own, etc. of course, you could give directly to charities for your tithing.

Do not believe in religion. It doesn't help us anymore. They bleed us with their doctrine, and give us no emotional support in all our struggles.Believe in our maker, and not in religion. When you help your brother in need, you are making your creator happy. When you share with whole heart, our maker will always share his immense grace with you and you will have everything you need.Trust in your maker, who sacrificed his only son for your salvation. That was the ultimate sacrifice of the maker for us.Let us follow him and contribute our best to share with the less fortunate. This should be our guiding factor and not any religion. No human beings can be good, they have their flaws,do not depend on them but depend on your maker who is perfect. We human beings are imperfect in a lot of our dealings,so pray before you enter or trust somebody. The divine guidance will help you to discern the best for you.Try out and tell me.

Yes I guess there is nothing wrong when you trust but then I guess you should be careful when you are easily follow them and scams you because of that. I guess trusting must also have limitations so that you would not be fooled every time.

hi, I experienced it too, ahh so many, in my church itself. They fake to be good followers or believers, go to church every Sunday, attend each and every gospel meeting. I am not very religious, but still follow the good things, which i am taught from my childhood. so i used to have this feeling , that they are very perfect , and i am not. But the story is different, which i came to know , only few days after being with them. oh my ..this was my reaction, so never ever took them seriously. just go in the path which our elders showed us, that's the best.

You are absolutely right, sunshinefame, and I agree with you.Religions don't deserve the blame for this kind of cheating. It is the followers of different religions that earn a bad name for their religions and their countries as well.I am Hindu from India,a country where most people are religious.I myself visit temples.I have also come across cheaters in guise of saints and sages. But I did not let them take me for a ride, because I had already become aware of their tricks thanks to tv and print media.Such persons are everywhere in the world and they have become a problem to their countries.I think, the governments should formulate policies to address this menace.

You should always think of your children first. If someone shows you that they expect you to put them before your children that is a sign that something is wrong. A good christian does not expect anyone to place them above their own child. It's unfortunate that a good, kind person such as yourself was taken advantage of. Please, try to be more discerning in the future. Before you trust someone they must prove that they are worthy of your trust. Have a great day.

Welcome to Mylot Sunshinefame. This is so typical. Ive seen that a lot on the people who comes near my father who is a lay minister in the church. He preaches and teaches about catholicism and there are many who would approach him to borrow money. These people think that just because someone is serving inside the church, that means one should be able to practice generosity all the time. After borrowing money from my father, after a few weeks, these people suddenly disappear and eventually, nowhere to be found. People take advantage of others. It is just so unnerving.

We cannot judge everybody by the act of a few. It's bad that you were abused by those pretending to be Christians. I hope you'll meet a real one someday. You are a good person and you deserve to be treated well.

Hello Sunshinefame On reading your post, I must say that you should adopt a more critical and cautious approach towards outside world. I know that trust is an important value, but it should not be limitless. As you say, there are good people out there, but there are also bad ones ready to use you, and believe me they will if they find how strong is your conviction about righteousness of the world.
