Conflict at work is very common. We came from different orientation in life and it is one reason that we have ideas distinct from one another. One strategy of handling situations like this, is proper communication. We should have a regular meeting in order to tackle issues and other concerns related to work. This is also a venue for the members of the organization to raise any issue that they find unreasonable or not in conformity with law.

Handling conflicts require a lot of maturity, neglecting and overcoming prejudices and bias, and a sense of fairness. It might also involve making some tough choices, which is easier said than done.

Handling conflicts productively is in the hand of the supervisor or manager, they should know how to handle conflicts. In my case, being a good listener is one of the trait of the supervisor, they should listen to both sides and have his own investigation on the conflicts.

Furthermore, you must be fair in judgement based on the evidence you gathered. Sometimes, it may take time to investigate and gather informations. As long as you can, you may conduct your own investigation for the issues and confilcts that arise.

yes , this works, the manager is the one who should keep any eye, on all these. He should be a good listener too, in this way he cant understand the problems of both the parties. thanks for the reply
