Oh no...I got so engrossed doing online tasks when I smelled something. I still ignored it because I thought it was just normal kind of smell, but when I checked what I was cooking, I found out that I had over-over cooked the rice I was cooking. It's totally burned at the bottom and yellow on top. Oh my! Do I have to cook again? I do not have time for that. Have you ever experienced this? I mean, have you accidentally made a mess of something you were doing like ironing or cooking because of your online activities? Do share.

I made a discussion about my own experience last year. I was so highly addicted to mylot, it was all I could think of all day. So when I was washing my hair and putting on some henna treatment wax, I washed it off immediately without leaving it on for the required time. That's because I was too caught up in my thoughts on the topic I was planning to discuss on my lot!

Awww man, burnt rice is hard to clean off the pot. I have never burned something while I was engaged on an online activity but I did left the water running one time. I was filling up the bucket at the toilet, thinking it would take time to fill it up because I made sure that I set the flow of the water from the faucet on low. Well, when I ran back water is overflowing and the shower area is so wet and full of overflowing water.

That's another wasteful one Raine. Yes, my pot now is blackened because of that---so hard to remove the burn stains.

I cook my rice in the microwave. It's impossible to burn that way. I have a nice plastic bowl with a lid. The lid has a tab to let air out. They sell microwave rice cookers, but my Tupperware bowl works great.

These days it seems I have so much on my mind that I forget everything. I will take something out of the refrigerator, sit it down, leave the room for whatever reason, then come back several minutes later to find the thing I took out still sitting on the counter. Because of this, I have a timer I set often when I have rice in the cooker or something in the toaster oven so that I don't over cook it.

Yes i experienced to over cook my dish when I am busy working in front of the computer and it really a waste of food and effort and i really regret that incident although I learned my lesson that not to do other activities while cooking because it might happened again. Regarding to the rice, to be honest I can only cook rice with rice cooker without it for sure the rice will over or half cook.
