For years now i have not have a new set of linens and actually my pillows are a little worn already so this salary that i will get not at the moment but for the next one i will make sure to buy new linens and new pillows i think i will donate my pillows to some street kids, i know it is not much but having a pillow on your head instead of a rock will mean a ton of difference right I'll throw in the linens to.

Hello there. Just like you, I think it was a long time when I last bought some linens. Before, I really love buying them. I considered them as my collections and I told myself that I would use them for my future. Maybe, when I get married. That was what I told myself. Though, I just used most of them because I think, if I wouldn't use them, they might fade already and I wasn't able to use them yet. I didn't like that to happen so I used most of them. I'll just buy special ones again maybe when my wedding day will be near. Though, I don't have any plans of getting married yet. I think that special moment is still far. I don't have any idea yet when it is going to happen. For now, I think the bed covers and pillow cases that I use for my beds aren't so new anymore. Others became faded already so I told myself that I also need to buy some new ones when I have some extra money already. I think my pillows are still a bit okay. I think you have a good heart. It's great to know you would like to donate some of your pillows or linens to some street kids. Instead of throwing them away, it's better if you hand them with those children so your pillows won't be wasted. They would still be useful for those children. Yes, you're right, it's better for them to use those pillows. Atleast, your old pillows might still be soft compared to some rocks that you were talking about. Atleast they would feel more comfortable in sleeping because of what you will donate. For others, it may sound simple, giving some old things to others but when I read what you said, I think you had a nice intention. You really thought of the street kids. Keep it up. Have a nice day. :)

When I read your discussion, I was interested because we have a similar case. I think I also need to buy some new linens already. I think you had your great idea and you are also kind because you still think of other people. You also don't like the things you have to be wasted. I also value the things I was able to buy and as much as possible, I don't want to throw them away. I just want to give them too to other people who might need them. It's good you were able to put yourself in others' shoes. You're very much welcome Deo. Have a good Tuesday and happy myLotting. :)

Hey there ladybugs, Sorry i couldn't reply quickly, well i just don't like to waste stuff like you and i believe that for people to really be people we all need to be empathetic so that we can live in a more harmonious place, i know i cant raise those kids from the place that they are but a pillow i think will help. Take care always.

That's so thoughtful of you to donate your pillows to street children. I haven't bought a new set of beddings for 4 years, now. However, we already have 3 different sets that I use alternately. They are not worn out, yet, although the color is starting to fade due to frequent washing. I would change linens every 2 weeks, at the most.

Hi there jurea, Well it is really not that thoughtful since it is just so that i can get rid of this things more efficiently and with purpose all i know is that if it comforts me then it will do wonders for those kids and there parents on the streets.
