the generation of daycare!!

these days every other parent I meet is keen on sending their kids to daycare and start working as soon as possible!! i wonder how the future generation is gonna be... i mean, can anybody else really replace parents... when kids spend 8-9 hours a day in the daycare, what could be they doing the whole day, what are they learning, the language, the habits, the hygiene!! there are good daycares, those which really work towards teaching and learning, but not all of them.
