Here in the Philippines today we are holiday. It is due to the respect of our Muslim brothers who are celebrating Ramadan.I guess this is only right in order for them to enjoy their freedom of religion as stipulated in our Constitution.Morepver, I'm hoping that the conflicts between Christians and Muslims all over the world will be settled. What about your hopes for the religions circulating in your surroundings?

I don't mind respecting other people's religions so long as they respect mine.

@PrarieStyle countries that are ruled by a religion can do as they please, but I've met many Muslims here in the States who left because they had no more desire to live under those conditions than we do.

I agree, however islam doesn't respect other "religions". islam says convert, pay a higher tax, or die...

But achieving Peace seems to be a very vague and impossible to attain!

HI Daisy: I think that's a beautiful example on how people could be respectful to the other's beliefs and that we can live together. Unfortunately intolerance is present in almost all religions and it's hard to fight with it in our communities. ALVARO

Despite you said that it is "due to respect", don't you love to have a holiday? Of course we all want peace. But some people just love to offend people, and another people are easily insulted And the world's problems are getting more complicated . Hoping isn't enough, we should do something.

I don't care what religion you practice. If you aren't worthy enough to first be a human being, religion is the last thing you should be worried about.

I am hoping as well that conflicts would be settled to avoid the racism in all aspects. Because even in Olympics there is still racism happened especially in terms of boxing.
