Proverbs are words of wisdom that can be shared almost anywhere like from family and friends, strangers, the bible, or even your teachers. These proverbs can change a person's way of thinking and ultimately live by them. My favorites are 1."You reap what you sow" 2."The tongue is a double edge sword either it speaks life or death" 3."Even when you are on the right track you can still get run over by just sitting there" 4. "The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing."-Henry Ford

For me Proverbs are like lighted lamps that guide us in our life's journey. That's why, I have so many favorite Proverbs, just to name a few; 1. "If there is a will, there is a way". 2. "One who has not learned from his mistakes is bound to repeat it". 3. "You reaped what you sow". 4. "If you can do it I can do it". 5. " Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips". 6. "Ask not what your country can do for you. But ask, what you can do for your country". 7. "For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved".
