One extra holiday for the town fiesta?

Philippines

This week, school is off for 3 straight days. Monday and Tuesday were declared nationwide as non-working holidays. I am surprised that my daughter's notebook had a note notifying us that Wednesday is also off, due to the fiesta of our town. It's the first time I've heard and experienced a holiday due to a town feast. When I was still schooling, in another city, we never had such cause for a holiday.

Wow, I guess your kid is so lucky to have another day of school-free. More time for school work, and more time for games and stuff. I remember when I was a kid, I can only last 3 days of vacation from school. After that, I get too restless being cooped up inside our house that I begin getting into my mom's nerves.

She's still 4 years old, so she didn't really feel the extra vacation. Unlike for bigger kids, they would hunger for more holidays.

Hope your child may be happy and you too... Even here also it happened. Children got 3 days of off due to Ramzan. Sat & Sunday &N Monday. Children are happy on this, but the exams also started from Tuesday onwards...

She had an extra day to study for her mastery test. Since she is still in Kinder1, her subjects are not that tough and she knows her lessons by heart, so I gave her more time to play and just a few minutes of reviewing casually.

Enjoy it. The city government had good reason to set off. Important means your child is working on the internet.

Yeah, I will try to enjoy the best of an extra holiday. It's exams week, so we'll spend the whole day reviewing for her mastery test.
