Dual Sim Mobile Phone

Gone are the days that people only keeps a single sim and almost not wanted to lost it. The trend now is a mobile phone that is dual or triple sim capable. I also use phone with dual sim. One sim is for work and the other is for personal use. I use to have two phones but I think it is no longer practical and not convenient for I need to use the two of them. However when I had my phone with dual sim it is really very convenient for me for I only need to carry one phone but with two sims. Do you keep more than two phones? How often do you use them? Happy mylotting.

Well if you are familiar with china phone they have a new model that is capable of using up to four sim cards although the quality is not really that good but is usable specially for practical purpose like calling, texting, and so on and it comes in affordable prices.

I've tried using china phone already though not the one you are saying, that is capable of four sims but of dual sim only. Although, the phone did not meet my requirements so I bought another one and as of now I am contented using it. Price is okay and it actually serving it's purpose.

The problem is that we don't get a lot of choice in dual SIM, especially if your a CDMA user. By luck I got a GSM+CDMA phone which I still have. But nowadays you need to update with technology as well. So I needed a BB or Android (forget about a dual SIM iPhone). But no such phone to suit my requirement was there. So eventually I end up buying a Sony Xperia. Now I need to carry it as well as my old phone to use the CDMA SIM. Hopefully I'll find a nice GSM+CDMA phone one day. Good day!

Here where I live we have 4 great cellphones operators, and if you are going to call to one of them, the price is much cheaper if it is the same operators, so, the most part of the people use 4 sims.

Two sims can be managed but how can a person handle four phones at a time by using a single plot phone. There comes the importance of four sloved phone. I just used to recharge my phone to reduce the call charges and i am not willing to take a lot of sim cards at a time.

Yes, I have two phones. I am not so much fond of the phones that can operate with two sim cards in them, I find it hard to use.

I just have my personal phone now, but used to have one for work as well. I don't think I would want a phone with two sim cards though. I think it's a psychological thing, having work and personal things kept separate. It was a nice feeling to turn off the work phone at the end of the day and forget about it.

Here in China, dual SIM card mobile phones are quite common with those that need to travel about for businesses or holidays to save up on phone bills. For us, when we leave our state for another, all calls will incur long distance and roaming charges on top of our normal call rates. At the end of the day, we will be incurring a hefty phone bill when we do not use the local card of the state we are visiting. The other reason for using the local state's SIM card is partially due to the telephone service providers' stupid policy with regards to topping up our out of state cards locally. Out of state users are unable to top up at their service centers instead we need to buy top up cards or ask our relatives at home to do it for us.

I used three phones before because I used to sell airtime loads. One for each network. I guess it was convenient for me because I used them at home. Now, I'm using one phone with dual sim. It's convenient. It's already for my personal use. Happy myLotting.

Dual sim phones are really quite popular nowadays. There was a time that I wanted one, but then when new cellphone models came out, I bought the latest model, and so I ended up using 2 cellphone. It is sometimes inconvenient but I got used to it.

If you're living between countries, so that with one SIM only you'd be paying roaming fees, then it can be very, very useful.

I feel one phone with one sim is enough for me. I agree with you to having one sim for work and one sim for personal use if only your employer is paying for that extra sim which you are using it for work. In most case the contact that you have in your work are also you friends. Don't you agree here? If so how do you separate your coworkers from your friends? Cheers

I have two SIMs and I am using two mobiles. Some how I haven't liked any of the dual SIM phones and I am not willing to leave my old mobile i.e. Nokia these are two reasons I didn't go for a dual SIM phone till now. I have seen one of my cousin using 4 SIM mobile phone. According to him life is easy using a 4 SIM phone for someone who is using 4 SIMs. He is a businessman and hence requires 4 SIMs.

I also not like dual sim mobile phone because if lost means both the sim also lost. I have no interest to send sms or playing game or talking more on mobile then no need dual sim. I keep only one phone if I will keep second then anyone can catch them because my memory is weak.

I used to have 2 phones but now I am using the dual sim phone. Seems fun to use it because of the capability of having 2 carriers in one phone. This is actually for savings since most of these carriers have cheaper rates if you call or text within the same network. The dual sim phone is not even expensive. These are the perks of new technology that has become beneficial for most people since they only need to have one cell phone inside the bag. Very efficient and convenient.

Now a days dual sim phones are quite common, some persons using three sim cell phones too. Previously we only have single sim phone and we are in need to use another phone if we have an extra sim. But now we can use two sim cards in the same phone and switch them easily without more effort. We can get more benefits by using this kind of dual sim cell phones. I am using a dual sim phone, one is for my business purpose and another sim card is for my personal use. We can use different kind of operator in the same phone as well as use the same operator too as per our wish, it is quite easy to switch between the sim cards and we can move the contacts easily from one card to another. Using dual sim is having more benefits for business persons like me. We can carry our phone anywhere easily and keep in touch with our business clients and with our relatives with different number and with the same phone. Most of us are interested in using this kind of dual sim phones and some of us are using it to gain more benefits. Really this kind of dual sim phones are great advantage of technology and we are gaining a lot of benefits with it.

i have a dual sim mobile phone. But I rarely use it because I still prefer my iphone even though it is not dualsim. I find the dual sim phones very confusing. Sometimes, I make a mistake by sending a text message using the wrong sim. Also, my dual sim phone is very slow and laggy. This is why I do not like to use it anymore.

It depends on some people preference, dual sim phones are really convenient. The best thing is, you can communicate without thinking of losing it. Some basic phones have this dual sim.

I never had a dual sim phone but I think is verry good to have these phones. When someone have a bussniess sim and a personal sim the idea to put them together in a phone is great.I dont need two sims for now and I am happy with my phone even if it's not a dual sim.
