It tells about their pricing and clearance pricing and also..the days they mark certain things down. Could come in handy for up coming holiday shopping!

Thanks for sharing the article with us. It's pretty informative and definitely great for back to school shopping as well! I've not been back to Target in quite some time!

Target is closer and I just like t better. They return with no problem while Walmart is always a problem. Their food is better, and just a nicer cleaner store.

Good find. I like to do my household shopping at Target and I like to look for the clreances each time I go. I like the price is competitive with Walmart but it seems better than Walmart.

They are close enough that it isn't worth the time to go to one over the other only bsed on price. The Walmart is pretty far from me and frankly I hate going there anyway. It is not exactly a "junky" store, but just gives that impression. The cashiers are, pardon my language, but for lack of a better way to put it..just ignorant. They don't know how to scan coupons, don't know what to do if they scan something and it comes up wrong price...don't even know how to count change! The food area is no cheaper than my local grocery store!

I have no intention of ever setting foot in a Target store. They bought out zellers here in Canada, and closed them all down. I am not going to let the big companies in America take any of my Canadian business. Wal Mart can go to Hell and Target can follow, as far as I'm concerned!

I'll have to take a look. In the past several months I've changed shopping from Walmart Supercenter to Target Supercenter. Target is a little more expensive, but they are less busy and their employees are WAYYYYY nicer.

Yeah, Target employees are much nicer and smarter! Prices I have seen are so close to the same it isnt worth the drive to Walmart.

Neat. I occasionally shop for markdown food items at the Super Target Stores. My most recent finds at Target included whole grain hamburger buns and tart cherry pie filling at 50% off. I don't take a list to the grocery store except to replace staples that ran out, but rather I buy what is on sale and plan meals around the "finds."
