That busy body II

So yesterday I posted about the busy body on our street. I did not know that in yesterday's paper in the police blotter that it stated that she had been fined for negligent calls, disruption of police duties (cops have to check out every 911 call so more then 30 times they where taken away from their duties because of her) and lying to the police (saying your neighbors are doing something they are not is a lie). Apparently calling the cops on your neighbors over 30 times in a week (this is split between 4 homes) falsely accusing your neighbors of various acts gets you in a bit of trouble. She has no one to blame but herself. I will admit I had not realized just how out of control she had been getting. I mean I knew it had been worse this last week but not that bad. I will never understand her point for doing these things but I sure do hope these fines stop her. It will be nice to live where someone isn't just waiting at her window with the phone in hand waiting for you to give her a reason to call the police.

She must live in her own little world. Doesn't she have family, work, hobbies, friends or something to keep her busy. She must not. Just watching the neighbors and/or making up things about them. What a sad and pathetic individual. I wonder why her behaviour got worse this last week.

She certainly is a super curmudgeon. How sad for her. And sad for all the neighborhood.

Well she knits and makes jewelry. She does that at her window where she can watch. It isn't just this week it just seems to have come to a head this week in it's usual time. Every summer she picks a new thing to complain about and by August everyone is just plain tired of her. Last year it was any dog that barked, the year before was the cats in the neighborhood, the year before that it was the kids playing on the block. She a curmudgeon.

Gee, this sounds familiar, until she attacked a child with a "garden implement" and got arrested then had to move out.

that's typical attention seeking behaviour she should get a life and needs to undergo some kind of therapy for sure. I feel pity of her, imagine she has nothing else to occupy her mind except keeping a close watch on neighbours...may be you should get her on mylot all of us will cure her for sure and she will be so addicted that she wont find any time to take a look out of her window just don't add her to your ore mine friend list..lol

Nosi - Nose Pokers can be a six alarm pain in the "ahem".
Nose Pokers can be a six alarm pain in the "ahem". I have experience in that from a nosy land lady who did more amateur investigation than land lording. However, they can on very rare occasion prove a service. Neighborhood watch is a glorified and formalized version of neighbors keeping an open eye out for 'weirdness'. Your poker has taken it to the point of extreme and probably outside of law.

She chooses a new thing each summer to harp on..so annoying. Usually we ignore her but when cops show up on the door step it's a little much.

It is sad when that's all a person has to do. Aggravating of course but still very sad that her life has come down to doing things like this.

LOL Good for the police department. She needed the fine. I hope this teaches her a lesson. How old is she anyway? Something tells me she is an older lady. I hope you don't have anymore problems out of her.
