The title struck me as odd.I could feel that it has something strange in it.Sure enough, the game is creepy,to say the least. And I felt a little bit hopeless because I didn't have any way to fight back the monsters that came.As I come to think about it,it is better that way, because it forces you to be more stealthy and careful. So,what is your opinion about this game?

I've never tried playing the game.Never wanted to anyway. The fact that you have to run from creepy looking monsters without a way to fight back sounds just like Slender.Definitely not my cup of coffee.

Well, unlike Slender which you can't definitely do anything to delay him, you can always use the game's environments to slow down the monsters. Heck, it's encouraged by the devs themselves to do that.

Well, yes, you can do that playing Amnesia. What I found out is if you block your face with an item, the monster won't see you.I once sneaked out facing a Brute, only with a plate on my face.

Its one of the scariest games in years, I actually love the fact you are helpless inthis game, cos that is what a horror game should be. Resident evil use to be scary until they decided to turn into an action game(resident evil games are not scary anymore). This game reminds me of the clock tower series and Haunting ground as well. scary game where the main character is an ordinary and vulnerable person. If you finished this game, It will feel so good because you conquered fears. Most horror games now are borderline action, this game is truly survival horror.
