Last monday it was a holiday here in the Philippines and its our monthsary of my girlfriend that why we decided to go to a park that is just near. Its Luneta Park, I haven't visit this park for a long time even though the ride that I always take is passing by the park. We ate lunch under that shade of a tree, walk and take some photos until we saw the statue of Jose Rizal our National Hero, tried to draw something and someone but did not finish it coz of the rain, and lay down under the trees. That was just fun and memorable I hope we can still do it again together.

Hello there Arvin. I think that was so sweet. I miss doing that with my boyfriend. Before, I was also able to spend some time with him in the park. First, I had my practice with my friends for a certain play we needed to perform at school. Then, after having the practice, my boyfriend was able to come and we stayed there until it became a bit dark. We loved the moments we shared there. We ate some snacks together and had some fun talking to each other. I think that time, taking some pictures using hand phones or digital cameras wasn't so common yet so you are lucky, you were able to capture your moments in the park last Sunday. I also liked it when it was raining before because we had to share one umbrella. When it was raining so hard too, we had some time staying with each other until the rain subsided. That was before when we were a bit younger. Nowadays, we just go to some shopping malls, departments stores or churches if we are able to see each other. I only see him every weekend because my work place is a bit far from his place. I still treasure all of our moments together especially now that we are a bit far from each other. I hope I could also see Luneta Park someday. I think I haven't seen it yet. I also hope that you could still do those things you did last Monday together again next time. You really could if you would have some time to do those activities again, or if you really like to go back to that place one more time. May you stay in love with each other. Just keep on loving her. May you still share a lot of sweet and happy memories. Belated happy monthsary to both of you. Happy myLotting. :)

We also do the same thing. If the rain is already so strong, we would also use our own umbrellas so we won't be too wet. Yesterday, we rode his motorcycle and it was drizzling while we were on our way. We didn't want to be so wet and he knew that I'm about to catch a sore throat so we stopped by the nearest shed and spend few minutes there. We waited until the rain subsided. It was just good it stopped after few minutes. We were just lucky. I would try to go to Luneta Park if I could visit Manila next time. It's been a long time since I last went there. I hope I could visit that interesting and historical place with my boyfriend too. Have a happy Monday. :)

I also like the fact that when raining we share one umbrella, but when the rain is too heavy we would stlll try to share but if we do get wet too much we will use our own umbrella. Try going to Luneta Park, you may see different people there. and you could also relax. Many people go their every saturday and sunday. Thank you very much have a nice day.

It becomes a family habit to visit Luneta Park during Christmas. We had been doing this already for the past 6 years and still going to this place every year. Even tough where are here in Laguna, we spend sometime going to that place. Luneta park does not have any significant aspect to our family life but I think it is a good thing to visit that place every now and then.

Happy monthsary to you and your girlfriend. I am glad that even though there are a lot of malls and other new places to visit, you have chosen the Luneta park to visit. Same here, I have visited it again for a long time now. When I come back I'll make sure to visit and take photos there. I think all Filipinos should visit the park once in a while. We need to remember that the statue in that park is very important. I also encourage parents with young children to visit and retell teh tsories to the younger generations. We are surrounded by many different technological innovations, I hope we won't be caged with it. Luneta Park is also known as "Rizal Park". It is adjacent to another famous place "Intramuros". There is a beautiful grassland in front of it and on the wall are different stores and some buildings too to remind us of the old city of Manila. Let's always pay tribute to the people who made help us be free. Thanks for sharing to us about your day in the park.

I missed doing that too especially just walking around and feeling care free. When I was still studying, we are used to just walking around our university. It has many trees, parks and many plants. I missed walking there though before I almost hated walking. That's the irony of life. Anyway, you have a romantic date ha. One of these days, I will ask my husband to go to Luneta too. We will bring our son with us and walk and take photos of us. That will surely be fun.

You could still do that, have a day that you are with them. Well I also missed those days that I could still just walk around the city with my friend, but for know we don't have any time to do that because of the busy schedules that we have.

Hi, Just like the song "We could go walkin thru a windy park..." (England Dan and John Ford Coley), sadly it was all spoiled by the downpour, "walkin' in the rain" is more like it. Stayed all holidays at home fixing things up, and how the housework piled up. I like holidays though.

Well the rain didn't ruin the all the fun. We could just stay long under the tree because of the rain.

Rain or shine who cares? We all become supermen when we are or were with our girl friends, we feel like we are invincible

That was indeed a romantic way of celebrating your monthsary. At least , it didn't cost you much to be able to celebrate it. And it's refreshing indeed to be eating lunch under the shade of a tree. Just like a picnic!

I missed Luneta park too, I was born and spent my childhood in Malate, Manila, so near the park, I miss my father who brought us there when we were kids, I missed the jogging to Cultural Center or up to the Rizal Monument when I was a teenager. Yes it has been a long time since I visited, think the last time I've been there was when I accompanied the kids to their field trip a few years ago

It helps a lot to relax and fume down and when I'm upset to go to a park. But when it rain you can't you have to wait. the path we have near where we live, has a lots of trees so if it rain you don't really get much wet.
