Sincee going to the dentist about a week ago, my gums in one spot havent stopped hurting. I brush, and use Listerine which help a little after but then comes back. My coworker thinks it might be infected. My teeth are so sore and sentive (worse than they were). I have to go back again on the 7th to get some work done, so I will bring it up then.

Ricki, you need to call the dentist now. If there is an infection he should not do any more work until it is all healed up. You may need an antibiotic. I have gotten an infection before from having too rough a cleaning.

I think you need to go back to your dentist and ask about the chief complaint you are having right now. For the mean time, you can drink NSAIDs to lessen the swelling and to relief the pain.

I think you should return to your dentist and have it check back again. I suspect that he may have wounded your gums that made it sore. Or if you can find another dentist to check it so that you can get a second opinion on how come it became sore after you have it checked with your dentist. I have that kind of problem years ago and the dentist suggested that I have it cleaned up and he prescribed me gargle this mouthwash not popularly known but it gave relief almost instantaneously on me.

if they are really bugging you, you may not want to wait that long.

Dear Ricki, I am so sorry you are hurting. I hope your gums are not infected. The 7th is awhile from now. If I were you, I would give your dentist a call.

If your teeth and gums are bothering you that much, I really don't think that it is a wise idea to wait for better than another two weeks before you make a return visit to the dentist. It does sound to me like you might have some kind of an infection from the work that you've already had done on your teeth and if that is the case, then you really need to get on some antibiotics sooner rather than later. I hope that you start to feel better soon.

Try to gargle warm water with a teaspoon of vinegar and salt. Vinegar used as disinfectant and antibiotic at the same time.

that would be better to check up again and make the most solution on it rather than you will suffer long on that teeth. It may cost you big for the treatment or etc. but daily activities would matter big experiencing like that would have big factor in job/ life as soon as possible work on it.
