He says he has two big refrigerators for meats and other foods. And they have lots of cartons of canned softdrinks and many fruits also which is because they have their own farm in the countryside. In the Philippines it's not common to people here to have two big refrigerators and lots of foods like I used to see in the USA. Although I have not been in the USA. But I can see on the pictures of my relatives living on the USA. They say it's just part of their lives to have so many foods on the refrigerators and big bottles of sodas daily. Anyway I have not been in my friends house but I have seen pictures of him in his own home with his family and see those things he mentioned. In my house we don't have too many floods in stock. I just don't like too many foods as we don't eat sometimes and so stock up food may just spoil. And even fruits as we not like to eat fruits sometimes.

Extravagant table - Lots and lots of food!
Unless you have big family having too many stocks of food would be most unlikely for a family unless of course they are very fond of eating. But I don't think that is healthy. At home I have stocks just enough for a week consumption. I don't stock food for more than a week because I do marketing every Saturday anyway. And besides, if I'd stock so much food, chances are they'd just to to spoil. We are very healthy conscious and we don't really overeat. But I know a relative who has 4 children and she has the habit of buying so much food and you know what is her problem. Two of her children are obese. It is a good thing the two others aren't that fond of eating but the two obese just would not do anything but feast on the plentiful food they have around.

I love the way the US people keep their fridge stock , people from my country rather to buy grocery on a bi weekly basis . People from my country much rather fresh food so that is the main reason we not a fan of tin , we only stock up if a hurricane is heading our way .

Yes we must prepare also during those times we would have natural calamities as we would not be able to go out during times.

I keep things pretty stocked up, i guess. Hate to go to cook something & not have all the ingredients that i need. I have always stocked up but now it's a necessity because i don't go to the store that often. I don't waste thins, they are too expensive to do that.

Yes it's important to always have what you need at your home as every thing is pretty organized in the USA.But in the Philippines we are not that organized. We don't like stocking up not unless we have some food business or selling stuff. But since what we buy are just for personal use or cooking. And lately I don't eat too much at home anyway. So I don't need to stock up on so many foods
