The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency has banned Lance Armstrong for life and stripped him of all seven Tour de France victories that helped make him an American hero. He refused to fight them anymore.. He said he will spend his time now raising his 5 children and being the most fit 40 year old...I mean it has happen before so why not him. If its true,,,the sad thing is if its not true,, He stated he had taken every urine and blood test given to him. so whats up with that?????

This is just sad, if it is true. He has worked for those titles, and one jealous person has to stomp on it. But its good he is nt letting them get to him, and he continues on with his life.

I heard that and I figured they must have something to base all these charges on but from what I'm hearing they really do not. If that is all true then it is complete crap! I can only imagine that the battle just got tiring. Also with 5 kids, I imagine that makes it even harder. I'm not sure how old they are but I would worry how it would affect them. Not only does it take up his time but it has to be emotionally draining and extremely frustrating and what kid needs an emotionally drained, extremely frustrated dad?

Personally, I think this is total BS. He has been fighting the accusations since 1999 and every test has come up negative. Since he stopped fighting they banned him. Every person that stops fighting this group gets banned. I do not understand how they can do this without proof. Everyone he raced with and in the world k ows who won those titles.

I agree, supposedly he past every single test given to him, so what was the testing for if they weren'y going to rely on them for results....everyone who he raced and everyone who ever watched him know who won the titles.... thank for responding...

I think he deserved this punishment. He has finally come out clean agreeing to cheating. He even agreed that he has cheated in each of the 7 wins. So by stripping it justice has been done. Think of those other persons who could have ended up winning the title had Armstrong not cheated them out of their titles. Cheers! Ram

yes its been in the news all week. but he has thrown in the towel and said he is tired of fighting them...He has said he knows who is he and what he has accomploshed...that was one of his points, he said he had partaken in every test they gave him.... I am sure you should be be able to catch it on the news later..
