I think that it is extremely unlikely. A number of people have, from time to time, raised the question but whenever any MyLot staff have posted on the subject, it is quite clear that MyLot have NO plans at present to expand into other languages as, for example, Yahoo Answers has tried. MyLot is a far smaller company than Yahoo with far smaller resources. The expense of running a website like this is not inconsiderable and introducing another language would involve far more than just setting up another website and database server.

I agree that there are a number of sites which have different sites or sections for different languages. Each of them, of course, will need moderators and webmasters who are fluent in those languages. Perhaps, one day, MyLot will decide to invest in the site so that people may enjoy the same facilities even if they do not speak English. For the moment, however, many people find MyLot an excellent place to come to improve their English and MyLot sensibly concentrates on doing the one thing they know how to do (run an English language discussion forum) with excellence, rather than trying to expand into other languages and failing.

I find it difficult unless the site had branches in other languages. But it is not that easy. Although I`d love to write in Spanish instead of English (or besides English), I accept what it is and have found a lot of friends that just like myself are doing their best posting in English.

yhou are not realizing that in the guidelines it states that they d o noit have any translators and wo uld ha v e to payh each one and have to h ave many as there are really many different languages and in some countries different dialects. it would turn out they wolu ld not beable to pay people to poost here then.

Please don't because it would be so hard to communicate to other tribes. See even today we are in one dialect , writing English language but some people can not get what we are driving at ! They are misinterpreting the things that we are sharing. So how much more if all of us uses native language. Please don't , we love our language but we need to communicate in one language only.

I dont really like the idea of expanding my lot to other languages especially that i dont understand those. I like it better that English unites us and dont exclude other members that do not understand other said languages. If it were in different languages, it could limit a lot if my litters and limit the number of responses each discussion could get

croquetilla mylot is based in uS and they make it plain that they have no interpretors so please post in English only., Since there are a zillion languages across the whole world and English is soklen in most of the workd, its impractical to have to pust it out in hundreds of different languages, too costly, and not that many staff. So I think mylot will stay as it is and be sides its good for everyone t o know several languages anyway.

hio croquetilla no mylot is English only as they would have to pay so m uch to hire translators for all the hundreds of different languages from all over the world they would not be able to pay us so best to leave it as English only as English is already spoken in many parts of the world now.Learning English is not all that hard and being on mylot is really a lot of fun too. Congratulations on your new son.

Well, I don't know if mylot considers already the possibility to expand to other languages. Spanish for expample also has got a lot of speakers as they don't speak it only in Spain but in whole southamerica (with exception in Brazil). On one side, it might be interesting to get it in more languages. But, on other side, mylot is now a multiculture side which unifies people from all around the world. So some people who participate nowadays in the same discussion maybe would not do so if there are more languages to choose. Of course, some people are lazy and prefer to write in a language which is easier to them as english is a foreign language for many people here in mylot.
