Making friends with your ex

When people broke up, some are turned into enemies or strangers and can also be friends.I have an ex who was really close to me until now.I really do not understand why? but I really think that we are far more better as friends.Sometimes we think that we should be together but we can't.Maybe, we are not really for each other and we have accepted it.We are both in a relationship and we are happy for each other.My boyfriend is always jealous of him but I always tell my boyfriend that if we like each other then we should have been a long time ago.How about you guys do you have any ex that turned to be one of your closest friend?

Well you are lucky to have your ex as a good friend. I have never had any situation like you. I always had boyfriends from other countries. When I was in India on scholarship, i mostly met the other students who were from other countries like Djibouti, Yemen, Saudi etc etc. and there came a moment when we knew it can not be forever because their parents were staunch Muslims and understood it well. it was mutual break up and we were good friends until we had to go back to our countries.

It's good that you are still friends with your ex. But make sure that there is a boundary and that you have no other feeling for your ex. And dont make your boyfriend feel that your ex is more closer to you. Of course you should set limitations for your ex. And make the most of your time with your boyfriend.
