False awakening is the moment when you think you woke up,spend some time,do things, and then wake up for real, realizing that you dreamed. I have experienced many times false awakenings.Once I thought I woke up and did things for 4 hours, only to wake up on my alarm clock. You can't imagine how I felt!It all felt so natural and so real, only to wake up,being so confused.I felt so old! Did you experience false awakenings? How it was?Share your experience!

Well,it seems like all of you guys feel tired after experiencing that.I can understand that.I don't feel physically tired, but rather mentally.Practically,I am doing things that I thought I already did.It is like a psychological straining.Thankfully,I don't experience this that often.

I only dream once in a blue moon maybe it is just I don't remember when I dream off. But It already happened to me that in my dream I thought that it is real and I'm not dreaming. But when I woke up in real it is only a dream sometimes when my dream is not good I thanks God that it is only a dream but when it is good and nice dream I wish to go back to sleep again

Well,I think this goes for every dreamer out there.Bad dreams are ones where we want to escape but we hardly can,and good dreams are those which are unstable. False awakenings can be very confusing, especially because so much time in dream(hours) are actually spent in minutes.

Dreams are so amazing yet mysterious Dreams are so real, we don't even know that we are dreaming! I have this 'false awakening' quite a number of times. I felt so relieve that I have wake up from a terrible dream, and things seems normal... yet in actual fact I am still in the dream. Only realised when I truly physically wake up later. Dreams seems to have in layered just like the movie "INCEPTION"

Yes,I have experienced situations that look similar to "Inception"'s action. A dream within a dream, and the closest dream is a fake awakening. It boggles your mind thinking how on Earth could your mind possibly do all that thing, with you not controlling that much. It's very interesting, indeed.

Well,I can realize if I have slept or not,but not all the time.Sometimes I do indeed feel a little bit tired doing things I thought I already did,but I recover from this rather quickly, fortunately.

yeah I have felt that way before. I have seen that I am doing work and when I get up I feel very tired because I have been working hard and it was like so real but it was just a false wakening. I experience it very often. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

it makes things almost seem like deja-vu.It is a little bit hard to accept the fact that you spent all that time in a dream, and did nothing at all.At least you don't spend that much hours doing that.

I think sometimes its because we have some things we know we need to get done or want to that we believe we did in our dreams.

Oh, I guess I experienced it many times, too. I thought I was already awake only to find out it was just another dream. I sometimes get scared. What if, I won't wake up next time. Happy myLotting.

I have this feeling and it will be many times in a row like in a movie. I will wake up in the dream then realize something is off and think i wake up in real life but I didn't. I do this for many times until I really DO wake up. It is an odd feeling and not sure why our brain works this way.
