afraid of making huge mistakes

I think almost everybody are afraid of committing one. However we could not always play safe as there will be times in our lives that we will be compelled to make life changing decisions. whenever this arises, i resort to prayers that I be guided to do the right one.

I was once like you before. I just want to always play safe but I realize risk must take in order for me to be successful. Okay, if you won't succeed at least you tried or you will forever regret not taking the risk. I also believe in God's plan for us. If I don't get what I want, God have something better for me.

hi!! its depends on the situation sometimes I'm a risk taker in times of my studies and family but in times if love I'm timid person. all of us can experience mistake in life and it just a trial to pass for. everyday i feel stronger for my family and love ones. enjoy mylotting!!

Mistakes or failures are part of our human life sometimes we have to face failures in order for us to be successful and we have to experience mistakes in order for us to learn. Though, because we are human and we sometimes want to be always with our comfort zone then we decided to stay always in it without taking some risk, we are full of what ifs, thus we tend not to experience things that we should. Taking a risk is not a mistake, committing a mistakes is not a sin, what makes it a sin is when you continue to commit mistakes and do some bad stuff. Sometimes in life we have to take some rest in order to have a right answer.

All of us have fear but its up to us if we could stay in that fear in us or just face it with courage yet we could make and do mistake even if its big or small but when those mistake are instrument or even a tool for us to get us improve ourselves, Then we might not get the risk in life but we will stay on what we have. If we want to improve and make changes in our self we must take risk and face with courage.

I think it's ok to take some risk for us to learn some lesson from it. Just see to it next time that if ever you'll be having some mistakes, you know how to handle it well and take the consequences that may awaits. Stay positive and be strong for yourself. :) Happy mylotting too. :)

The failure of many people is by not taking risk. Risks are risks and they cannot be changed. So if you don't take it then you will never know if you'll achieve it. I have been two months oversees and seeking for a job. I was so frustrated that I gave up my good job in my country and yet here i am seeking for nothing. First of all I took the risk, I know the consequences and I expected much. After two months of several job interviews I have been rejected because I was too young. I failed. But look at the brighter side, I have grown personally because of taking a risk. i have learned a lot of things. Now I am doing my own business. Since they cannot provide me an employment then I have to create an employment for me which later I will provide employment for others. The same way with growing up personally that sometimes you have to grow by experience. And sometimes you grow also by experiences of others.

You should not afraid of making mistakes. but you should do everything you know to prevent making such. In life, mistakes are just there to make you better and make the results of something better.

Hmm..I seem to feel that way too. I am a timid person, yet at times I want to experience things so I take the risk of committing mistakes as what is important for me is to have the experience. After all, the mistakes we make can be a great teacher for us, so we can move on with life.

First of all I don't believe you made changes in your personality since you are who you are. Perhaps you changed your way of living in the way you been raised but this has nothing to do with your personality. I assume you mean to say you accepted yourself (which is a great step) and you know you are afraid of ... Secondly I wonder what a huge mistake can be. Since there is very less in this world/life that can't be undone if you like so or can't be fixed. I think all the mylotters together gathered probably all life experiences one can have. So went good others went different from what we expected. But is that a mistake??? I don't think so. If you go for something, try out things this can't be called a mistake. You can only say it did not work for you and you try something else. Most of us don't have the courage to really change, in some years we are back at the start.. I wonder how you will look back at you, your life in 40 years time.

I am not a risk taker. Rather I would say I do not like changes in my life. It is the result of excessive thinking about the consequences. I do not like this habit of mine and trying to improve over this. One should try to love the changes as it will take place anyway so why not accept it with a smile. I also admire the calculative risk taking quality which unfortunately I do not possess which forms yet another reason for me being result-conscious.

I like your picture!Most people are conservative,it is hard to change the status quo.I admire your courage.Don't worry to make a mistake.I'm a stubborn person,I always want to change it,but can the leopard change its spots?It's so hard!So guy,just go on,to be a person who you want.Because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

If anything, I would say I am a risk taker. For the most part, before I usually make decisions that consists of some risk, I take some time to think about it. If a large cost is not involved and it's an opportunity to improve myself, I make a decision to partake in the opportunity. I do not let fear dictate my life; everything in life has risks, which means some things cannot be avoided. To be honest, I am more afraid of not taking an opportunity that may improve myself when I have already assessed that the consequences may not be too severe. Because if I don't take a chance at an opportunity, I might regret it even more. And if I do mess up or make a mistake, I can learn from it. Every experience has its ups and downs, but you need to figure out how to apply your experience in your life.

Risk taking is something that suits me more because if you dont take the risk how will you know you wount fail/succeed?By risking you get to the point of life!
