Wow thats awesome that the mail people take the donations for you!!! And thats a really good idea about buying clearence items throughout the year!!

This is wonderful!!! It is nice to see others donating not only toys but clothing and blankets as well!!! So many people dont have the right clothing for the winter months, and just being able to stay warm is a gift itself. It is a wonderful thing you are doing!!!

We help out but prefer doing things a bit more directly....a good example...I volunteer 20-30 hours a week at my son's elementary school....one of the kids at his school...the child has a terminally ill mother, Dad works long hours just trying to stay afloat...then comes home to care for the house and his sick wife...the young man has minimal clothing and even runs on short supply for basic Hygiene items...so our plan is to drop off a ummm surprise gift from Santa with things the child needs...as well as a few things the parents also might have serious need of.

wow that is so wonderful of you to do that. It is so nice to see that you not only help out at the school but also get involved with the parents and help them out. Thats a great idea to give those gifts from "Santa". It is great to see people like you out there!!!

I donated all the toys of my elder kid to an orphanage last year like bike, Pram other stuff. I do so with my daughter to her clothes were new only and she didn't wear them due to wrong cliate.They were for summers and when she was born it was kind of cold here so I gave them all to a hospital's children ward.I do so with all the unused gifts she gets.

Wow i had no idea the NBA did that, that is awesome, and look at you, your a donating fool!!! It is great that we can reach out to our fellow man!!!

I try to donate atleast 1 toy a year. This is only because i know what it's like not to have to many toys for christmas.

I collect beanie babies and have alot of dupes, going to give them away come Christmas season, love seeing kids's eyes light up and even the elderly in a nursing home. God Bless.

Yes i give all my magazines to the nursing home so they have something current to read. I am glad to see that others think not only of children but of the elderly as well, good for you!!!
