Robredo's life will be included in Subjects such as Values Education and Aralin Panlipunan (social studies) according to the newspapers.Luistro, DepEd secretary has already made a module and ordered regional schools to discuss topics about the late DILG secretary good governance and public service as Mayor in Naga city for 18 years in Social studies. While his life as a doting father, good steward and faithful husband will be the tackled in Values Education classes so students will be inspired to emulate and lead his life.

It is good to tackle such life story but I think it is not right to include in the curriculum. Setting Robredo as example will be enough but forcibly including it in the modules of the teachers is too much. I am not against of what Deped wants to do but as well as Robredo's achievemments.

Why is Jose Rizal's life included in the curriculum? I think Robredo's faithful leadership and good governance should serve as an inspiration to the next generations.Sooner or later he will be forgotten but if his life will be discussed in classrooms his example will never die.

this is a good move by the department of education. there is so much to learn in the life and work of secretary and mayor jess robredo. the young generation should ahve a role model that actually lived in this generation and who defied the odds of serving honestly and selflessly dedicated his life to public service.

I couldn't agree more. These days it is rare to find an honest public servant.
