She's just so darn cute, she is so curious of these new guinea pigs. She usually sits on my bed, and watches Marco in his cage. Now she will walk across my night table, and stand up the side of the guinea pigs cage, and check on them (shes not doing anything just peaks in). She keeps Stripes and Toppie in line when they pick on each other. So I patted her on the head, and told her shes in charge until I got home tomorrow. She just sat there all happy, and looking around.

hi ricki yes Patches sounds like a smart little cat and maybe she really understood you. Cats really are quite smart and understand more than we think they do. I had one that when I was not feeling well would come and sit by me and purr like she was trying to make me feel better.e.

They know when to cheer us up, or when we need help. She's the boss, and keeps her brother inb line.

Kind of makes me think of a herding cat or the "mother" cat, that's just adorable though. There was a story of a long haired girl chihuahua who took care of something else, I want to say a squirrel, it was adorable.

Smart kitty. She may feel like a den mother or something. She might be the peacemaker and ward off trouble before it starts.
