I am busy busy busy right now for my mothers birthday, it's on the 5th of september and I need to bake: 'Simply Luscious Lemon Squares' 'Blueberry Cheese Coffee Cake' 'White Chocolate Orange Brownies' I'm making the lemon squares so my mom can bring them to work, the tradition is that the birthday person has to bring in the baked goods. I made the base today and now it's in the fridge so tomorrow I'll finish them off and they'll be ready for the next day. Blueberry Cheese Coffee Cake is like half cheese cake and half coffee cake looking forward to it. And yumm yumm white chocolate brownies with a bit of orange rind grated in. All the recipes I chose are from the canadian living cookbook, so if you want I think they can be googled! Which do you think you'd like the best?

I, myself, probably wouldn't pick any of these desserts. I am more of a chocolate, caramel, peanut butter, oatmeal and other nice and fattening things lol But if I were to pick one out of these 3, I would have to go with the Lemon squares. (: And I have to say, it is certainly very nice of you to bake so much for your mother's birthday. Happy Birthday to her (:

thanks so much for the birthday wish!! yes, these are not for everyone but lemon squares are a classic. the brownies i was unsure of doing orange but they turned out great i was thinking just double chocolate or a caramel pecan brownie. i found this pb swirl brownie recipe which id like to try -- that was on life made delicious and used a pkged brownie. anyway i digress my brownie rant. :) :)
