Do you play any Musical Instrument?

Hello guys, I think all of us enjoy music in life but have you ever thought of taking your love for music to the next level, I mean playing what you hear. Which brings me to my question, Do you play any musical instrument- Be it guitar or harmonica, piano, violin or any other. All of them are nice. I don't know who said it but he said that everyone in the world must learn atleast one musical instrument. And that is very true. As for me I play Guitar right now and plan on learning drums, bass and keyboard also in the future but right now hooked on my guitar.Started playing last year I would say I am going at a rock solid speed right now for which I thank god. You listen to the songs from a different angle when you learn music. There are three things which will make you a virtuoso of your instrument if you follow these three i.e passion, perseverance, practice. All other interests in life will look dull to you when you start learning an instrument. The same happened to me. And I must tell you there is no age when you can start learning one.My uncle has just started learning a keyboard at the age of 65.So that tells a lot. "Life is nothing without music" Best of luck!!

I play piano. I learnt by watching videos on youtube. I have never had lessons. Now i Just upload covers on youtube. You dont always have to pay for lessons to learn :). Neither of my parents play instruments either. But I agree learning an instrument is so good. I have passion and practice. Not much perseverance though.

I used to play the piano. My aunt would give me free lessons. I gave up after a while. Although I really enjoy music, playing an instrument is just not for me. It's probably why I love club, house, electro, dubstep music more than classic music played by musical instruments like piano, guitar and such... By the way, I've always wanted to know. Does a DJ set count as a musical instrument?

All these classical instruments like Piano, Violin or even Guitar takes lots and lots of practice and passion to master.Unfortunately each of us have our own problems and lifestyle and don't have that much time to give to music. Each of us have their own tastes in music and if you love this music then its fantastic. Hey that's a tricky one.A DJ set can be called an instrument or not is a very debatable question but according to wikipedia any thing which produces sound is a musical instrument so in that sense it is a musical instrument. And yes it also takes lots and lots of practice to perfect and if you are learning that then it's very cool.

Yes if we listen to our favorite music it will help us to forget our problems in a short while. It makes us feel relaxed. I played the piano when I was young. I had studied piano playing since elementary until high school. Now, I could not play properly because I lacked practice however I can still read music pieces. I may continue practicing when I have enough time.

As I discovered my talent of singing when I was a kid, my friends advise me that I should try to learn to play some instrument that I could match up in my singing. It is sort of discovering of talent so I tried to play guitar when I was in 3rd year high school. I used to take practice every time I got a vacant and even at home. So after months, I already knew how to play guitar. I'd really enjoy playing it at the same time with my singing.

I can play the piano and would love to play violin and guitar in the near future. I learned to play the organ 2 years before switching to piano. I still love playing piano the best.

I did high school band - I played the saxophone. I wasn't very good but it was fun and a nice activity for me. Right now, I am trying to learn the flute but it's hard because I have no ear for music.

I agree with you have to know to play at least one music instrument or more. I play the traverse since at 17 years now I don't practice everyday which I should. But I can do play well, I have to keep put my mind into it and that is the answer to be good at something. Don't give up practicing, I mean the guitar is a nice music instrument I like the sound it project.

I wish i could play the grand piano solo in the big stage or luxury ball room, and attract the audiences. And make the good big musical orchestra. I want to be like J.S. Bach, Mozart, Chopin etc. I also want to play the musical instruments such as piano, and violin and play it along with the famous singers such as Sarah Vaughn, Maria Callas, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Andrea Bocelli.

I honestly agree with you in this regard. With the three basic premises of passion, perseverance and practice one could become a connoisseur of this field. Rightly said music is ethereal and ephemeral:- one of its kind which has the power to heal, comfort and calm the human mind and soul. It feels like heaven when your ur fingers stroll over those six strings bringing the moment of tranquility. It is the ultimate embodiment of peace, happiness which unites one and all.

Hello rouble! I love music, more than passion I found it is my therapy!! I`ve been in a church ministry in the last 17 years, but ten years ago somebody heard me sing, and I was invited to sing in mass. I sang alone for 3 years, then I got my guitar and sang with guitar for 7 years. This year I made my debut with my keyboard, and my teen girl began singing with me. I was in piano lessons since 8 to 10, then I got guitar lessons from 14 to 18. And then I finished college, got married, I had three kids, and since 3 years ago, I began playing piano again (indeed my grandmother piano). I got a wonderful teacher, who I deeply admire, and he began teaching this week my three children. They are having guitar lessons too, because as they hear me sing and play they want to make what mommy makes. And my daughter plays the flute so delightful!! My parents got divorced 17 years ago. And I have found on music a deep therapy for my sad days and for those days of tight problems. I think my children are feeling the same with music, and everybody should learn to play an instrument. World would be a better place for all. I speak spanish, french, english, a bit of portuguese, and german. And I can tell you that music is another language, an international one. I love music, my life wouldn´t be the same without it. And of course I am so grateful with God because thanks to his church and ministry I took music again in my life! Blessings rouble ... dainy

i am very interested to try to pay all types of musical instrument but to no avail. i am only expose to them and stare to musician and appreciate there craft. the instrument which i know to pay are guitars, drums, xylophone and organ. i am also interested to learn piano but find them difficult but hopefully with enough training i would be able to master it. one could learn and get inner happiness and satisfaction by playing musical instrument. i let us open up to the possibilities of being a musician to share my talents and entertain the listeners.

I always wanted to play piano or violin, but my parents had no money to pay some proper lessons. I was blessed with a very good voice, so I simply used my voice as my own instrument. I am planning to have a piano and to learn how to play it after i will finish my studies and I will be financially stable. Music has a special place in a corner of my heart.

Maybe it runs in the blood, I grew up listening and being expose to all kinds of music. And playing the piano and little of guitar is my world. My mother taught me to play the piano and she gave me something I can't forget for the rest of my life, a talent. I'm finding time to learn some more instruments, like the saxophone or a ukelele. Probably, the ukelele thing will be easy becasue I have little knowledge on how to play the guitar. Life is nothing without music, TRUE, indeed. Thanks
