Although Philippines is known as a christian country,it doesn't mean that all Filipinos belong to Catholic religion. But you will find it illogical when a taxpayers money will allocated for the celebration of fiesta festival, discos and other programs which maybe celebrated by members of this certain religion. In this time of crisis, taxpayer's money must be allocated to the most important program of the government, not the nonsense celebration of fiestas.Taxpayers deserve the best on where their hardworking money goes.Never that a law maker realized this nonsense. You and Me cares, Please share your thoughts here. :-)

It shouldn't be like that. Though I'm a Catholic living in this country, celebrations such as this should not be funded by the government. It would be more fruitful if they use it to build at least one school room or a set of books or chairs to be used in public schools.

Do you have any proof to your allegations? The government know clearly about this law and there is no way for them to violate it.

I don't think the local government unit where you belong do this thing. Please do check with them. If ever the LGU would spend something, that must be included in the budget. You must have been mistaken.

Actually your correct but we are only minority and what we can do is just throwing them a words because we are not belongs in their nonsense activities. Why is this happening and normally happening because whoever in the administration they should bow to the catholic mandate because they are majority or more number than other religions... so observe and see...
