Context Relevant Ads vs Hotwire

Wow, I spend a lot of time online today search for rooms to book for a trip and finally ended up making reservations at a Ramada Inn. Now everywhere I go online there are Ramada Ads. The other property I booked was through Hotwire which I had never used before and I chose one of their this-is-so-good we are not going to tell you the name of the motel deals. That was a little scary for me as they make you pay the money and it is non-refundable before they give the name of the motel. But I got a good price because the motel turned out to be a Holiday Inn that Expedia, and Hotel.com, and 5 or 6 other sites all showed the lowest price was twice as much as I paid. No context relevant ads popping up for that one. Have you ever booked a room with Hotwire? Do you like context sensitive ads or do you find them annoying? Where would you like to go on your next trip?
