What to do with those who oppose you?

Do you have detractors in life? I am not a war freak type of person who wants enemies and never look for someone to fight with.
However I seem to notice that there are actually people who waits for disaster to fall on me. If they see I am a total wreck-like depress, they actually somehow make a celebration or party to celebrate my defeat.
Now, when I get back to normal and looks healthy and happy I can see this bunch of people looks at lost, sad and looks at me with evil eye.
I don't get them as I am not wishing bad to them but they seem to convey that when I am happy they are not happy but when I am sad- it calls for a party!

Sounds like there are some jealous people that you know. There are people that do thrive on being "better" than others and there are people in their eyes that they will never accomplish that with...so if they see them in a bad way...it somehow makes them feel better about themselves. I have met a few like that along the way. It used to really bother me because I am like you...I want good things for other people. I don't take it personally anymore.

Well now I never said that I "accept them with all my heart." If you let people like that in your life, you are asking for another set of issues. I just thrive on the fact that they think enough of me to want me to fail. They actually hold you in a much higher regard than you think...but accepting them in my life..not so much.

Thrive on being better...right! and if they see I am much better they might feel they will not thrive very soon and it is the end of the world...Honestly, it is a fact of life that there are always people around like that. I just have to be used and accept them with all my heart.

Everyone of us will have to face at least a detractor wherever we go. it probably is a given thing when we are in our work, fighting through the corporate ladder, or when we are with our schoolmates, and even friends. there is always someone who may not enjoy our company of like us, but when we know better and know our capacity.. we can't be put down no matter how they try.

Now look at the bright side. You have a good way to get back at them. Succeed! Smile and be happy all the time. Never give them the satisfaction by being depressed. Give them a long smile with a satisfied look. Now that would just kill them.
These kind of people are those who are jealous because they want to be you but they simply can't. They want nobody to be better than them and you have what it wakes to be the best. That's why they wish you all the bad things in life.
That's a real challenge and the only way to win is to be happy. Cheers!

Very positive. Why, would I pay attention to them, life is too short to waste on people who is not good to you. If they want to be better than I am then go ahead--party all they like and soar high with beaming success but I just don't want them partying at my lost or problems, anyway that makes them happy so I just let them have fun of my failures. Maybe it gives them great satisfaction. So Hurrah!

Self confidence is the key to pulling on life--I am not telling success in life. If we take things tougher they will appear so. But this is fact of life and we have to accept people as they are, things as they are and be happy. People will not change for our sake.
If we think negatively it further pushes us down and instead feel tomorrow is going to to be brighter and things happen as they are destined to. it is destined that you should start a discussion today and i should post my response and hence it is happening so.
All that happens is for good. all people are good.

I don't know why other people seems to be happy when you are in the lowest situation of your life. They come and sympathize to you but then its not honestly and heartily felt by you because when the truth comes out that you deserve to be given what is due to you now you will see that everybody is against you and starts to look for any mistakes to put you down again. This happened to me many times but I offer them all to God because I know God will never forsake or leave me.

Great, I already did that I said Lord I gave up, I will not bother with myself with them won't mind their attacks. It is the Lord's job not us.

I have had shares of that, and me, too was puzzled why there are people hated other person's guts without reason. I just conclude it as insecurity on their part, or maybe they aren't happy with their life. What to do with them? Nothing, as they don't matter to me. What's important are the people who believes in me. As they say, the more people wishing bad ill for you, you'd be more blessed.
