I Don't Like My Name

that's really funny to hear that but at least it's still meaningful and have unique history, cattibre

that was when i was still young, redvakaurvaki... but when i found out the meaning of my name i thank God and my mom who named me, that was a very interesting history of the origin of your name cattibre..

I have traced my name back all the way. Originally I was named after my grandmother and my uncle. My parents took parts of both of their names to make mine. I was fine with that, but soon found out that my grandmother went by a nickname. I wanted to know where that came from so I dug a little deeper. My grandmothers oldest sister gave her the nickname. It turns out that my grandmothers nickname was her sisters favorite dogs name...so in turn i was named after a dog. It does kind of give me a funny story to tell people of where my name comes from though :)

oh is that so? i thought it was a weird idea not liking your own name.yeah there are lots of names that have girlie nature in them.

when i heard of a name stephanie what comes to my mind is almost exactly what you describe it here, im glad that you like your mine is short, and im kinda liking it because of its meaning...

yeah i remember some infamous people that put a bad reputation with an innocent name,..but in my case i only dont like my name during i was at primary school, when i reach secondary and found the meaning behind my name i begun to like it...

i'm very glad to know when someone loves their name, not liking my name though was only temporary until i discover it's meaning(when i was in high school) that surprised me, and i felt blessed from that day, mom really knows best, my mom is the one who named me...

hello there shawon, welcome to mylot, when i was in high school some of my classmates calls me with my family name too which is not the norm here in our country...

Heehehe...why remove the first character su therefore my friends not like my name and you also not like so change and told eureka.

it only sounds like "eureka" meaning an expression of a great discovery...
