Do you always in a rush when you take a shower or take a bath? I don't .. in fact - I always enjoy my time. And even I could nominate it as the best relaxing place ever - j/k Well, I don't always do this . But when I've got something interesting to be watched , I usually bring my laptop and watch them while I do relaxing in a bath up/ shower. I know it sounds lame - pathetic maybe (ah, come on, I don't have a high - tech bathroom which has lcd and dvd player in it. ). But it was great fun , I must say. I know this sounds odd to be remarked as a question.. But what do you usually do during relazing in a bath up/ shower?

I can't say I'm real fond of the shower. Before, when I was able to sit, it was much more enjoyable, but since the new roommate broke the shower head, I'm having to take showers in the back and it hurts to stand.

Well, it will take more cost on it, she should have it repaired soon - still. How much does it cost for paying a plumber on your place, ElicBxn? We have to pay about USD10 for a plumber here .

Hello my friend Juliyan23 Ji, Well, we take bath for bath sake, and complete as soon as possible. There is no hurry, no one is waiting for us in quee. But we never take shower/tub bath. Also our music during bath is reciting some 'shlokas' and not any other music. At times, I invite my hubby to rub my back, in turn he aleways refuses my entry into bath room. May God bless You and have a great time

Hello my friend Ji, Well, rubbing is not recurring basis, it is seldom, but that towel rubbing at the back is also a good excercise 'STRETCHING TOWEL' all musscels are srtached. I will try and bring out our famous Shloak with it's meaning as below :- GAYATRI MANTRA - ITS MEANING AUM BHOOR BHUWAH SWAHA, TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM BHARGO DEVASAYA DHEEMAHI DHIYO YO NAHA PRACHODAYAT. Summary of the Gayatri Mantra Gayatri Mantra (the mother of the vedas), the foremost mantra in hinduism and hindu beliefs, inspires wisdom. Its meaning is that "May the Almighty God illuminate our intellect to lead us along the righteous path". The mantra is also a prayer to the "giver of light and life" - the sun (savitur). Oh God! Thou art the Giver of Life, Remover of pain and sorrow, The Bestower of happiness, Oh! Creator of the Universe, May we receive thy supreme sin-destroying light, May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction. Gayatri Mantra in Sanskrit Gayatri, the five-faced Goddess, is said to have domain over the five senses or pranas, and protects these five life-forces of those who chant the Gayatri Mantra. In her role as the protector, Gayatri is referred to as Savitri. Word for Word Meaning of the Gayatri Mantra Aum = Brahma ; bhoor = embodiment of vital spiritual energy(pran) ; bhuwah = destroyer of sufferings ; swaha = embodiment of happiness ; tat = that ; savitur = bright like sun ; varenyam = best choicest ; bhargo = destroyer of sins ; devasya = divine ; these first nine words describe the glory of God dheemahi = may imbibe ; pertains to meditation dhiyo = intellect ; yo = who ; naha = our ; prachodayat = may inspire! "dhiyo yo na prachodayat" is a prayer to God Hence the Gayatri is unique in that it embodies the three concepts of stotra (singing the praise and glory of God), dhyaana (meditation) and praarthana (prayer). The prayer form of the Gayatri be used to pray to Lord Shiva is called Rudra Gayatri. Similarly, one may sing Ganesha Gayatri for Lord Ganesha, Hanuman Gayatri for Lord Hanuman, and Saraswati Gayatri for Goddess Saraswati. Origin, Benefits and Chanting of the Gayatri Mantra The Vedas are widely considered to be the source of all true knowledge, the word "Veda" itself meaning "Knowledge". Gayatri Devi also gave to mankind the "Gayatri Mantra", also known as the "Guru Mantra" or the "Savitri Mantra". It is one of the oldest mantras, and generally thought of as being amongst the highest and most powerful mantras of all. This mantra is therefore often referred to as "the Mother of the Vedas". In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna had proclaimed to Arjuna - "Among all the mantras, I am the Gayatri". May God bless You and have a great time

When I am taking a shower, I don't really take the time to relax that much. I just try to use it well by not taking too much time. I try to ration my use of water whether it's the sink or the shower. Taking a shower is more for sanitary reasons where I don't really consider my place to relax; the only exception would be during the summer on very hot days. However, for me, my place of relaxation is the book store or electronics store. I do not even have to buy things that day to relax. Being around things that I enjoy is very relaxing.

It usually takes me 30-45 minutes in the shower, what I do most is to scrub my skin with shower gel. It should be with my scent of choice, sometimes I'd like citrus scent, berry scent and old perfume scent . I wash my very long hair with shampoo and I make sure I lather the shampoo well. Then I don my conditioner of choice. I love having a very fragrant hair after bath. I really love smelling great. It's like I dipped in a tub full of perfume. I do spend a lot of time taking a bath and applying different soaps for my skin to look great, soft and moisturized. Taking my time to rinse everything so I will feel light comfortable and ready to go after :)
