Well, just my observation an honest seldom become rich, they stand on their principles, values and conscience. While a foolish rich was too smart, materially attracted and just enjoying every opportunities no matter what the consequences are. I didn't say the dos and don't here , just citing what happened in this realistic world.

I supposed you maybe right but not totally correct because there are so many poor who are not just foolish but also are arrogant. They beg for lose change, yet never accept a few coins because they like a bigger amount,so instead of giving them money I just bought them a complete meal.I stop by a friend calls me,and just observed that they do not wanted my given meal for them and return it all in the store, and they just get ask for the amount I paid for their foods. They buy some liquor and just some packs of junk foods, that is what I have observe.Who is the foolish one?Sometimes you could not understand people what they like with their life.

That's right Berting, the lazy poor and hardworking rich... Silly poor becoming poor making large family they can't feed..The foolish rich are those who go with a group of dishonest just to make himself successful, I know many who stands on their principles and ending lost their job. And those who go with the flow were successful. That's reality.

Sometimes life is so confusing why there are so many hard headed.A great looking place could become smelly full of shanties, then they could be working and made the place concrete. The real owners could demolish them all,so the government give them money to go home to their home province, yet they just go to other place to squat again. They just congest the place and are more brave than the owner of the lot they squat. What a shame making illegal occupancy to a place they are not allowed to built their own shanties.

Both are good in their field. Why you are wasting the time to observe them everyone should watch themselves. I like both honest poor and foolish rich.

Lol.. I'm alive and given wisdom by God, being observant is not bad , it's needed in todays generation to observe, watchful , aware and concern each other, why poor become poorer and rich become richer.. Many commented according to their observation, they are right of their own, meaning they know whats happening.. since you choose both then that's your opinion based on your experienced and environment, no comment with that... :). It's not wasting time to be observant ,we should,!!!! or else someday we will wake up a loser, if we will just mind ourselves. Peace!!! :)

Yes honest poor is better than foolish rich, because it is useless for that foolish man to being rich, honest poor man will think smartly and because him no one will suffer, foolish rich may hurt someone or like that as he don't think honestly.

Yes it make sense actually I think this is a very common phenomenon in our society,I very agree to the statement that someone always stand on their principles seldom become rich,so if we want to be a rich man,we should change ourselves and be more flexible.

honestly,.. i don't like neither one of the choices here but having no choice but to choose one, i'll go with the honest poor one, being rich out of foolishness wont give me peace of mind which i value a lot more than having material wealth,...

I hate to say this but for practicality, I'd say a foolish rich. Gone are the times when being too smart or materially attached are deemed as bad traits, as long as we don't hurt anyone in process, there's nothing wrong there. Who wouldn't want to be rich if given equal opportunities? Being rich does not automatically makes you bad, in fact you can even help those who are in need if you are financially blessed.

Hi gangnam you are right as long as no one is hurt...can we still apply honesty here or not? Maybe as long as we didn't hurt any one.

That happens often, but not in all cases. There are people who became rich out of hardwork and maybe really good fortune. There are also foolish poor, like those who only keep having kids and will make their kids beg to feed their mouths. There are people who are really lazy, that instead of finding a job, they just beg. An honest person (maybe rich or poor) is always better than the foolish one.
