All of us remain in busy in our jobs. After that we have family to look after. By the end of the day, we are too tired that we go to bed. We miss the bright sunshines of the morning or atleast we dont admire it. We miss the cool breeze in the evenings, the warmth of the moonlight. do share your opinion if you take time for appreciating the beauty of the nature.

I love nature and I am very lucky in that I live close to a river so I can take regular walks along the river path and indulge in the pleasures nature has to offer at the same time. I love wild life and there are a group of horses in a local field as well so it's nice to go and visit them from time to time. That's the only disadvantage of having a full time job it hardly leaves you any time for yourself. Andrew

I should say you are damn lucky. People like me who stay in apartments see rivers only in images or screen savers. From what you have said, I feel you stay at pollution free environment. So you are relaxed as well as healthy.

We have moved from a Metro and settled in a semi rural setting just to be with nature. We have created an ambiance around our home that attracts several birds every single day. We have several fruit trees, flowering shrubs and a lot of greenery.

Now that is what i would call being true to nature. In this era when people usually migrate from villages to cities. You probably belong to a few enlightened group.

nature's bounty - Ideal habitat for birds
Gardening has always been a passion with me and even when we were in the Metro I had grown plants in the balcony and later when we got a flat on the ground floor the Society gave me place to develop a garden. I wanted to design my own house and garden. I am a landscaped garden designer and I got the opportunity to do it when we shifted to this place. Here is a picture of my house.

I am a nature lover by heart. I grew up in a mountain city and appreciating nature is just natural for me. Nowadays, I work in a metropolitan area, so I rarely get to see nature. Oh, but, our office has a wonderful lawn in front and lots of trees. So, it's a good walk going to the office. Also, I travel from time to time and get outdoorsy and close to nature. It revives my spirit! I agree, the things I miss most from my youth are - waking up early and watching the sunrise and moon gazing at night while walking home.

I just liked the phrase you used,"appreciating nature is natural for you". Its nice to see people still have some that passion in them to think out of their jobs and money. I think you would also be a good trekker since you are from a mountain city

Yes. And I actually love trekking! Once in a while, we climb mountains. Once, we even planted trees. I wish I could do that again, but my climb buddies are not organizing one. Just recently, I went to some remote islands in our country. I think maybe if you watch Survivor there, they shot in those islands - Caramoan. The beach is really amazing. The rock formations, the white sand, blue-green-teal waters were really awesome. I wish that everyone could appreciate nature more so that everyone would care enough to preserve her natural beauty.

Everyone is busy for their work and their family and other things,so we will find out that some of the good things in our life just be ignore by our"busy".So I think no matter how busy you are,you should take a break, have deep breath and squeeze some time to appreciate the Nature, that will make your life full of happy.

You put forth the precise point, but less people actually appreciate. Its a pity that people tune into discovery or national geographic channels to appreciate nature. They can just open their windows and feel the fresh air. Nothing is more refreshing.

Yes its true . Due to lake of time u cannot go for natural beauty . But if we get put early we can see it by watching the sun rise and at the time we r working we can just take a break and go out to see the sunset. In this way we can see the natural beauty. Or u can place a little garden in your house and see the natural beauty everyday.

You are right. people can afford to spent atleast some minutes a day for this. After al what is life if you cant admire your creator.

Well yeah, everyday is so busy. But whenever I come across park or even a beautiful flowers my neighbor had, I surely take time to admire them for a second. I guess a relaxation if nature will be good, but I don't really have a time to go on a holiday long enough to go to the place surrounded by nature next to my city. If I were to go there on a public holiday, there will be very terrible traffic jam (because people like to go on a holiday to such place in same time), and I'll be stressed just to go to that place. These days though, I appreciate nature when I go to a park near my place every Saturday. I always loved plants, flowers and beauty of nature, too bad I can't have time to appreciate them often.

I dont think there is any better way of relaxation. WHat can soothe your mind other than a smiling flower. look around and we feel its all beautiful. it helps us to forget our pain.

We temporarily live in an apartment in the province because last month, our house in the city got flooded. Our new apartment is just beside the grove of trees and it is always windy and cold especially at night and in the morning, you could feel the cool breeze coming from the trees. It makes me feel I'm recharged for a new day.

I do take time to appreciate nature. A breeze on my face, a raindrop on my head, rainbows and the colors of Fall are all wonderful miracles of nature. I can even appreciate a snow white Christmas. Mainly, because I would not be going anywhere, and that is the only time I can appreciate snow. Bumble bees in a flower and seeing fruit grow in the soil are nice as well.

Appreciating nature is important to our own well being. I can get super busy and when I don't have time to relax or things are getting a little stressful and I open my door and see my flowers growing it has an immediate affect on me.

I live in the city so it is pretty much hard to concentrate on the beauty of nature. But when I do go to the country side, I go to the beach and it is the place where I take time to think and see the beauty of nature.

I too share a similar sort of pattern as yours. Since I live in the city, I dont get much time to spend with nature. So every year, i probably take a long enough vacation and prefer to sepnt d time at a clam relaxed place. Nature is a healer in every sense, you dont get peace of mind anywhere else.

One of the advantages of being is retired is that I have the time needed to appreciate the beauty that is around me. Almost every morning I go downstairs and enjoy a cup of coffee before any "people" activity starts and enjoy listening to birds and other animals "talking" and just to look at any plants and trees. It may sound boring to a younger crowd but to me it is a pleasant way to start the day.
