new pet

two weeks ago, a friend of the family asked us to take her son's dog. they thought it was a shi tzu (not sure on the spelling). didn't know how old he was or whether he had his shots. so i took him to the vet today. he's not a shi tzu, he's a pickanese (not sure on the spelling). he's around 1 1/2yr old and he's healthy as he can be. he gets along with the chihuhua and the husky. i think i'm going to close the door on pets. NO MORE! the husky is 9 yrs old and the chihuhua is 5 yrs old, so he's the baby of the bunch.

hello there angelwithkids,
it was really exciting to have new pets. whereas i remember during those days when we have had our new puppy. that i also feel so excited and always looking forward to cuddle her everyday. and now that she was already a dog, she seems to be sad whenever i was not able to massage her head. indeed having a pet makes me relax.

since he's less than 2 yrs old, he's still a puppy phase. which makes him a good fit for my son. they both have energy to burn. :)

I also am a pet lover - dogs, to be particular. i have a dachshund and a lahsa apso at this moment and I would really love to have a Saint Bernard, but it's way too expensive!
Dogs can really be a man's best friend. They are fun, loving and sometimes, when everybody else has turned their back on you, your dog will just be there by your side!

our dogs have their favorites. the chuhuahu is daddy's girl, unless he's not around. then she's mommy's girl. the husky is sissy's boy. he don't really care for anyone else. if she ever moves out, he'll be following her. the newest one is more bubba's boy. he's still checking the rest of us out.

It is nice of you to take on other peoples animals but I wonder why they cant take care of their own and instead ask you to take them. How many animals do you have on top of the dog you just aquired? I just have one cat right now who lives inside. She is about 10 years old.

from what my friend said, her son was moving from one apt to another. he didn't want to pay a pet deposit for his two dogs. he gave the dogs to her. she found a home for the one dog and my husband said he'd take the other. that's how i ended up with another dog. the husky is going to be 9 yrs old next month. the chuhuahu just turned 5 yrs old.

Pets can be as loving, peaceful and tender as well. I have two dogs, but we use to pick up healthy dogs from street, til we post their photo to help them find back home. But no more than one at time, that makes three dogs at home.

i was against bringing this dog home, but after the vet's visit, he's growing on me. hubby and the kids love him. i think he's finally realizing that he's going to be well taken care of here.

I am a pet lover too. I love dogs and cats. I did have a love birds but the crow ate them. I am sure it is difficult to manage pets when you are busy with life. I think three dog pets are good enough. I love lahsa and chihuahua. hmm. I wish I could have a chihuahua but they very expensive. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Ohh, you are so lucky to have them and they as well. I'm not yet have a dog but my sister have a german sheperd dog that they breed and sell the puppies, they are really cute when they are still puppies but when they get older they are so big and heavy! Haha, I like mini pitcher because it will stay tiny! Hehe
As of now I have different aquatic pets and I'm so happy seing them in the aquarium. :)

i love them all, that's why i know i got to close the door for any other pets. they already go through a 10 lbs of food every two weeks. i'm already working 7 days a week to provide for my human kids, i don't want to continue working 7 days a week for them. i want to be able to take a vacation.

i think two pets are enough to have fun with.......but if u think that you can handle the third one then you must give it a shot.............but according to me a single chiuhuhahua(not sure on the spelling) is enough to keep you busy all day..........

Nice means you take new pet ohh yes dogs born the childs in bunch. At a time 4 or 5 or more than this.
