Do you think the bowlers will dominate the t-20 world cup?

I believe this t-20 will be won by the bowlers, rather than the batsmen. Seeing so may teams getting bowled out or losing far too many wickets it is clear that the bowlers have evolved in the shortest format of the game to not only contain but to be able to dismiss the opposition. With the bowlers on the attack which bowler will dominate this tournament? If you think otherwise which batsman will score heavily and win matches for his team? Amla? Kohli? Raina?Gayle?Wade? Or some new player?

I don't believe that the bowlers will rule this T-20 world cup at Srilanka. Of course the sub-continental pitches will be handy for the spinners even then I am of the opinion that batsmen will have the final roar. As Kapil Dev said 'all the teams are having 1-2 batsmen who can make their team win but India is having around 5-6 batsmen who can win matches'. Therefore my vote goes to the Indian batsmen and then to Gayle-the most dangerous batsmen in T-20 format especially.

The first match saw the two Mendises come up with brilliant bowling performances. This will continue.

I would say spinners will dominate the T-20 world cup to be held in Sri Lanka. As in India, the pitch out there are for spinners and batsmen. Sunil Naraine will be the spinner to watch out for. Among the batsmen, as you said Gayle, Raina, Kohli, Wade, and McCullam, Warner, Watson, Jayawardene would make matches interesting. Cheers!!

That is what everyone assumes about Srilankan pitches but the news coming now is different. Only the better spinners like Ajmal or Sunil Narine can have any impact on the proceedings. The seamers will look to reduce their pace and invite the sloggers to throw their bats at them.

Hello guyz, I too think that spinners are going rock in this tournament. We have already seen some good signs of it. Ajantha Mendis picked up 6 wickets in his fist match. Unfortunately Narine couldn't do well in his first match. I hope he will come back strongly .

I would not say bowlers would dominate the whole tournament but i can see them play a role on some pitches especially the spinners. both the mendises did well but we also have to consider the opposition. most other teams play mendis the bowler and spin well in general.

I think it depends on the condition. A good bowler can indeed restrict the batsmen form hitting boundaries. But in some situations we have seen that even good bowlers are not economical .
