Female Inmates Against Marzan Couple

Philippines

After the Senate probe appearances of the couple Reynold and Analiza Marzan, people's opinion are divided. Some say, both sides are victims of political motives. Others say, that Bonita Baran's injuries were self inflicted. And there's more to that, headlines from newspapers say that Female Inmates are all ready to iron the Marzans, the same way they ironed Bonita's face. Tsk.tsk.tsk. This issue has gone way too far. I think jail personnel should consider this threat seriously by the time Marzans will be detained.

I think i would believe more on the words of the maid against that of the couple. Their claim for self inflections made by Bonita is very unbelievable. No sane person would go to the extent of distorting her body features and lost her eyesight just to fabricate stories that would incriminate others. Even the senators found inconsistencies on the statements of Analiza. Now, they are reaping the result of their own arrogance and cruelties.

Yah. We share the same opinion. If you've seen the Marzans testimonies, you could really see they're not true to their words. They even read their answer from a script. If they are not guilty, why they were hiding in the first place? When asked by Sen. Jinggoy, were they hiding or not? they couldn't answer immediately. Well I just hope that everyone gets what they deserve, mostly justice for all those victims of such abuse.

Unfortunately, the maid did suffer from this kind of mistake these couples did. though you gotta hate those people for maltreating her like that. there's no way they can be not guilty for what they did. I don't believe she self inflicted her pain, only a crazy person would do such a thing to some one's eye. if she did, it won't be on her eyes because it's another vital part of our body to see everything around us.

Absolutely. I don't see any motives why she would hurt herself. Not even money, because the accused are not that wealthy. And I guess Bonita has a strong case, provided that Mr. Reynold has previous warrant of arrest, a case filed by his own wife, due to physical abuse. So their credibility is already questioned.

I really do not know because there is a side of me telling me that they deserve to be treated like that. But human as I am I still think that they should be given the necessary protection despite the fact that they somehow are guilty. But of course it could be just rumor being spread by the Marzan's so that they be given special protection in jail or public sympathy would turn on them. As for the rumors that the injuries were self inflicted, seems quite an impossible thing since why would you sacrifice your eye to be injured so seriously and get blind to prove her case. I think if that would be self inflicted then it can be wounds on her body but not on the eye which is quite important part of you that cannot just replace.

Well, I think the best way to deal with this is to let the court decide the outcome of the case in so fr as who is guilty or not. Media or the news has made us aware about the issues and that is good but now that the case is in the court already then perhaps the media will just wait for the court to resolve the issue otherwise we will notice that many people will now hate the couple resulting to this inmates getting angry. Personally, I think the maid has no reason to hurt herself and besides the doctor who examined her concluded tht some injuries cannot be self inflicted by herself. So it is obvious that she is not the one who did it as told by the couple. I hope tht she will find justice and that she will be compensated.

Hi, You get what you sow, that's the rule in life. Being cruel to their helper (if true) may have some repercussions even if the it is just an ordinary person. They should be mindful of their acts, it would a good lesson to see them being treated like one.

my heart goes out to the child of the Marzan couple who celebrated his birthday without his parents who are currently in jail for a case that is not proven yet. I do hope that justice will be served immediately and it be proven if the Marzan couple really did or did not do such inhumane activity to their help

The Marzans should pay for what they have done. I don't believe that the injuries of the maid were self-inflicted. Imagine doing your self something that will make you blind or burning your face with a flat iron. I don't think so. These kind of people should be prosecuted for their crime. Hope that most of us will learn from this thing and that we respect our fellow human being even they are our helpers. This should not be happening.
