Do you have many of your FB friends who write sayings and proverbs on their status updates? These usually are accompanied by inspirational photos which are gems of thought and do teach us lessons in life. However, I seldom read this type of status updates because they are usually long. I am more interested in reading real status updates from people I know and used to know. How about you? Do you often come across these sayings and inspirational lines on FB? Do you like them? Please share your thoughts.

Hello Yes, i most of my friends love to post such inspirational or rather motivational stuff which reminds us to treat our life more seriously. I find that this is quite meaningful as compared to some people who make pointless posts.

Yes I do. Life can be tough and believe it or not, reading those really helps.Words do give you strenght and some kind of hope. I myself share these kinds of statuses and I find that alot of people like them, however i get where you're coming from, people that constantly update them non stop, can get quite annoying. If you are not that interested in that, facebook has a feature that when you press 'friends' gives you the option to hide/show their updates on your homepage. I suggest you chose the option that's right for you for certain individuals.

Honestly, I enjoy some but at times, a lot of my friends re-post a picture with a saying on it, over and over and it actually bores me in the end. I like to read some inspirational quotes and life lessons, but not all the time. I'd prefer to see funny pictures and videos, and yeah, I still play some games. Anyway, one of the things I hate when someone makes a particular saying as their status is when they always do it like all the time, and some people get fooled that they were statuses that were composed by the person himself, but the truth is, they stole it from somewhere else, and they don't even put any credit on their posts. That's what I hate. I do have a friend who is like that actually. So, I kind of turned off his updates and feed on my wall.

Yes, I do. I love sayings ut I only post sayings which hit me the most. It becomes so annoying for some people who just post them for the sake of posting. Sayings should be used sparingly with real life status.

I always did. Nice to read status with sayings and quotes. I don't really personal status saying their terrible life. I prepare to say it offline. Sometimes it will create misconceptions and quarrel.
