I often hear about ‘passive income stream’ as a way of earning money online. I have no idea of it. Can anyone throw light on it and suggest some legit sites that can be used for the purpose?

The indirect meaning of 'passive income' is = recruit people who will work for you. And that's somewhat true too. When people you recruit work for their earnings, you get some cut of it, which is passive.

passive income means smart work, when people under you do hard work and you earn money from their efforts, for e.g a businessman where people in his company do hard work and he earn money from their hard work, for passive income first you have to invest money, then recruit peoples and there is no gurantee that whether you will suceed or not,i will advice you only uinvest site at the moment

I have also heard of uinvest which I thought to be a HYIP site. Does it mean that HYIP sites are only for passive income?

I honestly don't know a lot about the traditional thinking with passive income streams. However, the site that I do all of my writing on does have a form of passive income. The reason that I say that is because you would write your article and then after you have posted your article onto the site, you are able to earn residual earnings from the site for as long as the site is in existence. This means the work that might have taken me an hour to prepare has no ceiling on how much money that I a able to earn from it.

Hi Doctor... Passive income stream means you earn from your downline or people who is working for you. If you start any business and recruit some people then they will work and you will get some profit from their work.

Can you suggest how I can make the downline for me? Does it require any investment or can I achieve it without any investment?

Earning money in any way is not easy. But we must try our best to have it. Please go through the different responses and I think you may get some new idea about it.

Passive and residual income are almost the same. I write for some of the on line publishing sites, and every time some one reads one of my articles i get paid. That is good way to keep earning on the work you have done. As you publish your portfolio keeps growing, the more you have published the more you make, but I will warn you it is very slow starting, but it goes on and on. Go to this site and read about how it works: http://expertscolumn/referal/65788751 check it out

When your income depends on the success on your downlines/reference/the men under you it is passive income. Some times you don't need to invest.

My interpretation of "passive income" is that you do something once and you continually earn money from it. Some people have mentioned writing articles as a means of passive income. Others have said having referrals that do the work and you make money from their efforts is passive income. Here's what Wikipedia has to say: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passive_income In regards to online earnings, if that's what you're talking about, the only passive earnings I'm aware of are more like buying stocks and compounding interest. Referrals don't necessarily give you passive income because most of the time they don't participate. Investing in sites that claim to have passive earnings is a risky business simply because they generally tend to be watched by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission who is attempting to completely control online earnings. I tend to think that, as in life, you have to work to earn. In most cases you can't "hire" somebody to go to your job and work for you and still get a paycheck. It's the same thing. I think "passive earnings" online are a thing of the past. You have to do SOMEthing to make money.

Hi there Doctor Didi! I think it is talking about your downlines or referrals. Like here in myLot, if you have a few active mylotters, then you get passive income though it will be absed on their participation. I still think it's passive though. Haha! Happy mylotting!
