In my experience, when our daughter was just a baby yet, we would always go by the seaside at about 7 am when the sun is up to have her warmed. Her colds & cough would be gone in a few days. In my opinion the sea breeze plus the early morning sun contributes to good health indeed.

I really agree with you my friend, that person with a whooping cough are recommended by their doctors to be frequent in going to the beaches and bays, just to have a fresh sea breeze because it helps heal the cough by the clean air it enters into its systems.

That is quite true my friend.I still have a fresher air to breathe even if not really near a beach because we are blessed to live near a delta of a beach resort.Pollution is the number one culprit why so many ailments are causing lots of people to suffer so often, especially if you live a an urban area with so many vehicles bringing thick pollution into the air.

Yes, I believe it. I live in urban areas near the sea. Much pollution here. However, the sea breeze had cleared most of the pollution.

I believe that therapy will be successful. Same with my experience while overcoming the problems of children aged 4 years who had a cough for 3 months. Sea air was freed from prolonged suffering.

That is interesting knowledge. I know the dry air is good for people with things like asthma. Arizona is a popular place for people who have really bad allergies and such. Like Olahoma, where I live, would be bad for someone with asthma because we have our heat, but the humidity is killer. Whereas Arizona, not so much.

Well thank u so much for the above information. i strongly feel that air itself is very much important for everyone. Be it the sea air or the normal air. But i have also heard about the sea air being very important in curing some of the respiratory ailments thanks to its freshness and dirt free content and this is the reason when the patients with the respiratory problems inhale it they feel it more fresh and better than before. What say?

Yes, I am an energy therapist. Some of my patients recover simply breathing the sea air. I believe, the sea air had good energy.

I know that sea is good for hayfever sufferers as the pollen count is considerably lower along coastlines. I am not sure about the effect on people with respiratory problems but I can only imagine that sea air would have a more positive effect on such sufferers if not for the better, purer quality of the air which isn't clogged with carbon monoxide traces from exhaust fumes that you get in urban areas. I have suffered from mild exercise-induced asthma and find that a damp, steamy environment helps. Steam rooms are good but just as effective, and cheaper, is to have a facial steam- just add and stir some vapour rub (like Vick's) to a large bowl of hot water, lean over it and put a large towel over your head to intensify the vapours. You should find that your tubes are as clear as a bell!

Sorry, your asthma? Try to breathe in the sea air at the time of the sea breeze. In my opinion (as an energy therapist), the result is better than treatment with steam.

Thank you for sharing, as this is new for me. :) I think that it may be possible, considering that the air near the sea is comparatively fresher compared to those in the city. Or are there any other reasons? Because if that's the sole reason, then mountain air or forest air should be good for treating these kinds of diseases as well. Kindly enlighten me, maybe I'll try it in the future

Sorry, Andreas, I have not found scientific evidence about the sea air. Perhaps the sea air containing salt, which is not found in the mountain air or air forest. You can try at the sea breeze, when the sea breeze blowing to the mainland (4 pm until morning). I do therapy in some people who suffer from respiratory problems, and they have recovered now.

My view is slightly different. to breath fresh air is good. that too from sea is also good. sometimes when one lives near sea -- because of humidity it causes allergic asthma problem. if asthma problem is not there then sea air is good for eveybody,.
