Lacking in B12 again, having to kick myself into gear once more.

I guess it's more inconvenient to go to my Dr's to get my shots, so I'm now trying again with the vitamin supplements. I have found lately that I'm not sleeping through the night and am having a hard time falling asleep, that that was because of the lack of B12 in my body in the past. So now I'm back to taking the vitamins, hoping to remember every day to do this. I bought a pill box thing today, has all the days of the week, and I've filled all of them, so hopefully I remember to take them when I need to. I have it filled with several different vitamins, and I know they will all make me feel better while taking them. Hopefully this turns things around for me, healthwise.

We have a history of b12 deficiency in my family too. I go to my doctors office every month and get the b12 shot it only cost 5 bucks for the shot every month with my insurance. I havent gotten the shot in a few months because I keep forgetting too. I heard the b12 pills our huge and I have trouble swallowing huge pills so I just prefer the shot form. I should get it done soon though because I have been finding myself not being able to sleep at night waking up every 2-3 hours and I'm always tired. Hope both of us can get our b12 levels back up and get to feeling normal again.

I hope so too. Nothing like those sleepless nights to really get you down. And I have to drive daily, so this could take a toll on my reaction time while out in traffic, so I can't let it get out of hand. I used to get the shots too, but my Dr is too far away for me to get to easily. Mine was $13/bottle and that was supposed to last for a year, but he does provide it for free if I forget mine, which I haven't done. I just wish I could remember to go, or even have time to go!!

I need to buy some myself, right now I am on calcium and vitamin D pills but I need B12. Just not sure if I should get the B complex and have enough of all the B nutrients in my system.

I ahve tried the pills before for b12 and iron they just dont work for me. I tried the shots as well and they didnt work. I am going to a specialist in the city at the end of October. I will be getting a transfusion through an IV, which both the iron and B12. I hope this will work, and I have to go every so often for the rest of my life.
