What to do with canned spinach?

I was going through all the forgotten and neglected items in the back of my cupboard and found this: canned spinach. Never have I eaten canned spinach - only raw. Raw spinach is delicious and I have no problem coming up with things to do with it (well, ok, mainly just put it in a salad). I have no idea what canned spinach tastes like (the picture looks gross) but I would like to try to cook something with it. Any ideas?

I agree with the above poster for omelets and soup. I would also make a nice quiche with some bacon and cheese. For soup, you can make a tuscan soup and instead of using the kale, use the spinach, or a nice white cheese dip like a spinach artichoke dip. but be warned, one can will go a long way. Outside of that, if it is still a good date, I would donate it. I like fresh spinach but canned spinach not so much. Just the ways I listed.

I also prefer raw spinach but have had the canned spinach before. It is more saltier and a bit mushy. I've used it in my scrambled eggs along with mushrooms, or an omelet. I've also added it to the top of pizza, and sometimes added it into canned soups or even stews. Make sure it's not too old to eat though.

I think it is always good to go for raw spinach from the marked. If the taste of the canned food is good then go for it. It is always good go for homely food.
